Janet and the mother are alright looking but as someone who watches way too much Kdramas neither of them are all that and a bag of chips vs the Kdrama girls and milfs. It isn't even close.
I kept watching it but I'm happy it's done.

omg you lucked out not having to deal with the mother. They tend to be really evil. But maybe that’s because you had her grandchild so she will take it easy on you.

in the male point of view I had to help out in the store even when they refused. I had to keep insisting and forcing myself to help out even when they say no. I should also not go to work and just help out in their store when they need it. Which they (as I said ) always refuse. Haha

Years ago, these hardcore ethnic travel agencies could get you a good deal on airfare to their home country. I think some of that advantage has disappeared with the transparency of the internet.

I remember going into the travel agencies in ethnic neighborhoods. They would have that "WTF do you want?" look on their face. I'd say I wanted to go to blah-blah city and their eyes would light up. They loved sending people to visit their home country.

One time, I actually stayed at a small hotel owned by the travel agent's Aunt and Uncle. It was very cheap, clean and close enough to everything. It had no amenities to speak of, but who flies overseas to sit at a pool. The Uncle quietly told me it was GF friendly and the night clerk wouldn't say anything. Ha-ha.

That's probably not a fair comparison. I'm guessing Kdrama actresses are selected more for their beauty than their acting chops. It would seem like comparing the cute Latin girl down the street with the Telenovela beauties. The latter wouldn't even notice most of us.

Actually, I saw a desktop sitting in front of their door so I went inside to ask if they were tossing that computer out. The answer was yes after a bit of sign language. So, I took it home, turned it on and everything was in Korean. Tried unsuccessfully to change it to English. Finally, gave up and put it back in the curb. It was an old P4 with XP but I thought maybe good as a backup.

The Soulpepper production had a good run before it became a tv show, did a few tours.
I think Apa was the only one who was there for the theatre run and tv run, I think between both Ins was done with it.

I'm watching Shang Chi out of love for Kim's, maybe Appa will show up as a Mexican burrito. What happened to The Janet Show, it was one of the funniest vignettes, is it because Stacey is no longer Gerald's gf?

I'm still hoping Netflix picks up S6.

Marvel has to promote the film better, it's getting lost in the Venom 2 tsunami. It will be released three weeks before the Hardy/Serkis/Harrelson film.
