“[It divides society between] the oppressor and the oppressed, and since these identities are inborn characteristics people cannot change, the only way to change it is via violent revolution,” the parent said, according to Rufo. “Growing up in China, I had learned it many times. The outcome is the family will be ripped apart; husband hates wife, children hate parents. I think it is already happening here.”
That's a pretty good way of explaining the idiocy of identity politics, actually. Though I believe the family is a microcosm of the nation at large.

Our Woke Intersectionalists appear to feel Dr. King’s dream isn’t a dream worth striving for. Looks like the first thing they judge is the colour of someone’s skin then what genitalia they have between their legs and where they want to stick it.

imagine thinking this way.

The story is missing a lot of details, like the teacher's intention or agenda, for one.

My gripe with it is that this is taught to 8-9 year-olds in third grade.
I agree with both of these statements. So I’m not going to fault the parents for their concern and I am not going to fault the teacher for their lesson plan. I don’t know the agenda other then what was written in the article. I’m not going to call it fake news however. I just don’t jump to that term very lightly.

The age may be wrong but I don’t disagree with teaching privilege, what it means and why it is important to recognize yours.

Privilege of being a part of the majority was not the issue
in the days of MLK. Society today has vastly improved in
the way rights of the minority are respected and protected.
Some aspects of human nature unfortunately could never
change. We all have our own biases and prejudices. I think
the evolution of identity politics in our society could be
attributed to our desire to root out discrimination of all
forms which in reality would never happen.

Sorry but you (white heterosexual men) are not the center of the universe. I don’t mean that negatively, but factually.

Uh, OK, who else then can you prove has ever set foot on anything natural outside of earth's orbit?

People love to decide for themselves that racial strife is rampant within the earth's atmosphere, but consider what else is available for comparison.

People are going to get pissed at me but .....

“[A] white, cisgender man, who is able-bodied, heterosexual, considered handsome and speaks English has more privilege than a Black transgender woman,” the book said.”

That is true. Why is that wrong to teach?
It all depends who is granting the privilege. If it was Hugh Grant, then "Black transgender woman" would have more privilege ;)

Oh and does "cisgender" mean 99.6% of the population?

How dare you post that reactionary quote? If we abandon the identity politics, the perpetual victimhood how can we justify torching a city?

Does it matter what the numbers are? Are you saying the other .4% are irrelevant and shouldn’t matter? What difference do the numbers make?

All lives matter sweetie, no matter how small the numbers or how silly they are.

If you believe that you are a cat it's fine by me. Just don't tell me to say "meow" if I want to addressee you or that I should smell your ass instead of saying good morning, because that's how cat's great each other.

Your post reminds of a video I watched the other day on YouTube. A retired US Marine watches other peoples videos trying to figure out what makes them tic the way they do. In this video a woman doesn't want to be any gender. She identifies as an alien. She even had her breasts and nipples surgically removed.

People have different traits, but we can't simply give every attribute a value and find the sum the determine a ranking. Thats just too damn simple, quite stupid and ultimately will never fix the problem.
Perhaps teach to respect others, despite appearance, culture or ethnicity since everyone bleeds the same blood.
Amplifying privilege and underprivileged just creates more division.

If education is a privilege; why not stop setting these kids up to be underprivileged because they are being taught victim-hood, instead of learning math and grammar.
Learning to read and write would be a much better use of time than talking about feelings with vocabulary they lack.

Here is your John Wayne quote:
"Life is Tough. It's tougher if you're stupid."

Why does privilege always turn into a cock measuring contest.
NOOOOOOO! I HAVE THE SMALLEST DING DONG!

WTF are you going on about? Clearly you have trans issues but this is not about that.

This is about the difference in privilege not your opinions on trans people

Since we're teaching 3rd graders all about the LBGTQ+++++++ communities, their preferences, expectations, behaviours, rights, etc...and we're also teaching the heady subject of 'privilege', I suggest we should widen the curriculum and extend it to cover topics like pedophilia, beastiality, incelibates, death, BDSM and sexual slavery. After all, all these things exist in societies all over the earth, and they're bound by the law of averages to be confronted by one or more of these elements at some point in their young lives, right?

After all, you only have to attend the Pride parade with Mommy and Mommy to see some dude crawling along the pavement in assless chaps, a cork in his anus, being led by a dog leash, and with a ball gag in his mouth. What a wondrous experience for the average 7 year old! I'm pretty sure every 3rd grader who sees that will have some questions, and we as modern, woke adults and leaders of liberal society owe it to them to be completely, brutally honest about what they are seeing and why. They have a RIGHT to know, and be educated (or indoctrinated, depending on how you view things from your pedestal).

The age of innocence is over, my friends. We are now entering a new age of Darwin-istic 'Survival of the Fittest'. If your mind can't keep up, fuck you. Especially you, you young bastards! This is REALITY little boys and GIRLS. Get with the program, or tough cookies!

Actually,. it is false. If both comes from the family of similar income and education, and both have the same education, the black transgender women has more privileges. What you meant to say is a randomly chosen white heterosexual male is more likely to come from a higher income family with more educated parents and has a higher education himself then a randomly chosen black transgender women. Privilege has nothing to do with gender, race, or sexual orientation. The success is defined by how much time and effort your parents invested in you and how much you work yourself (with the few exceptions of people coming from ultra-rich $10M+ families).
