Smarten up. Speaking as a lawyer, it probably IS sexual assault to have sex for pay and intend not to pay. If not sexual assault, it's certainly fraud. And that's a felony too.
And escorting is LEGAL in Canada. Has been for about 5 years now.
And rape is no longer defined as a crime in Canada. Hasn't been a crime for decades. The current crime is sexual assault. Assault is any touching WITHOUT CONSENT. If consent is coerced or obtained fraudulently, it is not legal consent. So if you have sex with someone under the pretense of paying her and you cheat her, you just sexually assaulted her. Or defrauded her. They're both crimes. You'll go to jail either way. So it doesn't matter.
