I actually agree with what is being said here (I know refreshing to have common ground after we all argued like idiots in another thread). Clients should not directly tell providers to charge more or less. I have done so in the past and in retrospect wasn’t the best idea , I think what thrumper said with getting gifts or tips sends the msg in a better way. The other side simply not seeing them will get the point across lolz

I'm not agree, not always true. Some indies charge over 400$ and they're not more attractive nor offer special or rare services. A girl with a lower rate can sometime offer a better service or be more attractive IMHO.

This is not to say the escort is a clock watcher or rushing guys, she just prefers shorter encounters. She may have a normal looking half hour rate but a much higher hour rate. This is to distract guys from booking longer appointments. Therefore she is screening out the type of clients she does not want and marketing to the type she does.
Women who have multiple hour discounted rates are looking clients who want longer arrangements.

As we discussed by PM, I blocked her because all the amusement factor had gone out of me seeing her endless, tedious, repetitive, nasty, unvarying, man-hating rants 6 times a day in my Twitter feed. It's always: "Men are cheap and stupid pigs!" "Men, give me more money!" "Men are nasty, crude misogynistic fools!" "Men, give me more money!" all the time.

When I got back into the industry in 2017, I started my rates at 220/hr. Many of my clients told me (very reluctantly at that) to raise my rates. Why? It wasn't to win my favour or because they're stupid. It's because they honest to God felt that my level of service was worth way more than I was charging. Why is that a bad thing? Why is he a jackass for that? I thank those gents for telling me to raise my rates. Because of them I see better quality gentlemen that treat me very well at 300/hr than I was at 220/hr. Next year I will be raising my rates again as my services continues to steadily improve.

Looking at your photo, I would have told you as well that you were under priced at $220.00 - which is bargain basement for a hi class, quality companion these days. This is assuming that I had booked you and had a client relationship with you.
The girl who was the subject of the initial post was charging $450, which seems a pretty substantial rate already. And the guy did it just at random, it seems. And based on looking at her Twitter page. There was no indication that he was even a genuine client.
And Squeezer and I are probably triggered because - as we both posted - there exists a certain type of male poster on Twitter these days. So this guy seemed to fit the stereotype that we both notice and dislike.

It was all because of the guys that my rates are what they are. And then men in Durham were not happy about it 5 years ago. They feared the trend would make others raise their rates. Some ladies did. They did well and kept those higher rates. Some did not and had to lower them back again.
Men don’t lie when they say the market will have the final say on whether the rates are calculated right for each individual girl, but what some fail to realize is, they are right even when the market is saying the higher rates are acceptable and working. Maybe not for that man individually, but overall and for the lady charging, it is working. At the end of the day, in my opinion, that is all that matters.
