And this is my ATF (by far) Sade song. Gives me chills.
Saw her back in 1993 at Kingswood Theatre at Wonderland. Digable Planets opened for her and they sounded like shit because of the amphitheatres shitty soundsystem and outdoor acoustics. I said to myself "fuck, dont tell me I wasted money to come hear a bad sounding concert". But when she went on she sounded amazing. I was in the 14th row centre stage. To say I was blown away by her vocals live would be an understatement. Outside in an open air amphitheatre and she sounded better than on cd. I remember when she did a 10min version of -Is It An Crime- that had the entire audience including me melted into the seat speechless by her vocals. I remember when she first walked onstage barefoot I had chills

I haven't seen her, because she does so few concerts, but I've seen some footage of her performing live. Sounds absolutely amazing.

25 years ago on September 13, 1994 one of the greatest albums in black music history was released. And so began the far too short career of Christopher Wallace aka the Notorious B.I.G. Ready To Die was a seminal release because it put east coast back on the map. Plus it displayed the absolute genius of Biggie's lyricism. My favorite song off the album is this one.

Biggie Smalls is the ILLEST

2nd fav joint on this album. Easy Mo Bee on the production. Lyrically just blows my mind.

I can't locate this one in my memory bank but enjoyed listening to it.
Thanks for the share lomotil.:very_drunk:
My pleasure and if you are so inclined have a smoke and a drink and listen to it again for comparison.
