It's "Never too late" in the title because most of you are bandwagon jumpers. LOL

Rumor mill has it that Kawhi enrolled his daughter in to a Private School here.
That is how rumours get started. I can see you waking up early and following him around all day.

6 Canadians drafted when all is said and done.

Raptors drafted Dewan Hernandez (Miami) in the 59th round.

R.J. Barrette and dad very emotional. Zion Williamson very emotional (as he should be) when he spoke of his mother.

Do you guys see a scenario that the Raps trading away...Lowry? No Kawhi I can see that happening in a heartbeat! But, even with Kawhi back next year would Masai dare to let Vanvleet takes over? I think McCaw can get some meaningful minutes after Lowry is gone.

Toronto Raptors: Kawhi Leonard (player option)

Congratulations to the Raptors. They won the NBA title and, equally important, made the Los Angeles Clippers sweat Kawhi Leonard's free-agency decision in the process, per Windhorst.

Plenty of people still believe he's going to L.A. Windhorst also added that Leonard may give the New York Knicks a meeting. Whatever. The Raptors have made their case, and it is a damn good one. Leonard is their everything unless he leaves.

And if he does, they have a decision to make: Do they start over or try to retool around Marc Gasol (player option), Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam?

Leonard was acquired under the guise Toronto would blow it up without him. It isn't that easy anymore. Siakam is fast-tracked for stardom, and while the Raptors (probably) won't have real money to spend this summer, they're in line for squeaky-clean books in 2020 and 2021.

Outside target if Leonard stays: Garrett Temple

Outside target if Leonard leaves and they don't rebuild: Dorian Finney-Smith (restricted)

Outside target if Leonard leaves and they start over: Youthful projects (Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Stanley Johnson (restricted), Furkan Korkmaz, etc.)

Got this from bleacherreport.

Shush folks a simple mistake, Earl may have been having a few. Let's not be social critics - there's no money in it.

For the sake of argument, let's say Kawhi listens to Shaq and dons The Purple Toga...what are the chances of Jimmy Butler signing with the Raptors? He has already exercised his option to become a free agent.
Jimmy Butler isn't a good fit for the Raptors...Raptors roster has good chemistry in and out of the court...Jimmy butler as talented a player as he is, is another Chris Paul...their egos are what makes them difficult to team up with...the Raptors chance of getting the chip lies in Kawhi's big hands...there is no player that can replace him that would make Raptors a big contender. This is a difficult position right now but I think everyone should just live with it...We got the 2019 chip and that's what Masai's move is all about...forget the past, don't worry about the future...let's bring the Larry OB north of the border NOW and it happened. The risk paid and we're going to live with it whatever happens tomorrow. If Kawhi re-signs...then we just hit the lottery again. If he doesn't...let's just play good ball and make it to the play offs and hope we can get a huge deal on trade deadline...I just hope this draft pick Center will turn out a monster...

Kawhi got mobbed again while leaving, the sound of cell phone clicks must have been deafening. That goes with the territory of being King of the North...people should give him space if they want him to stay.

The King of the North turns 28 on June 29th, if he celebrates it here - he's staying. Who is she?

That's Brooklyn Decker...

.

59th pick not 59th round....lol. They would be drafting all week if there were that many rounds. There's only two rounds with a total of 60 picks. 30 Teams each get to pick twice...lol.

Kelly has gotten too thin. Would you believe that Kayce is a melanoma survivor. She's on Barstool Sports on Sirius/XM Channel 85. Liz is hot to.

Well said! If you are going to play with this group, check your ego at the door. Let the "Jimmy" show move elsewhere. Talented player but too much baggage! What's he ever won?

Wait until July! Can't do much until Kawai makes his decision public!

Kawhi's birthday is a week away, if he celebrates it here, chances are good he's staying.

Can't see how any of the free agents wouldn't want be his team mate. He's a born leader, he got the team into his mindset and they enjoyed the moment. Unless coach nurse thinks that Fred can become the full time shooting guard, they need more scoring at that position.

Regardless of Kawhi staying or not...I think the Raps are in good position to compete. I can see where Masai is going with the draft selection...I don't know much about Hernandez but a young center is what the team needs right now. The backcourt is good with Lowry, Vanvleet, Lin and Powell...they will be coming out next season with confidence and experience...Kawhi's position will be a big void but a decent #3 might just do because...we've seen the Raptors win a lot of games without Kawhi...Let's face it. Kawhi is a rare specimen in this league...a guy who can post up, drive and spot up, steal, block rebound and force turnover...not even Durant and Lebron can do what he does and that's his claim to greatness...So let's forget filling his shoes if he leaves...I trust Masai to go a different route if that happens. He won't try to fill the void. I hope this new pick is athletic...I like Marc Gasol but he could barely contain Embiid and what we need to concentrate on is the East...Let's worry the west when we get there...

Read a piece on Bing yesterday on how he can benefit financially by stating for 2 years with raptors before moving on.
He obviously can get his cock sucked either side of the border so depends on if he wants to stay for some Toronto pussy or if he be homesick and wants to go back to the US.
So really the only two choices that matter to humans in general.
Pussy or money.

Superfan and the Mayor have asked the good people to respect Kawhi's privacy and stop hounding him.

That's overreaction on their part IMO...no matter where he goes...he's going to get hounded...that comes with the territory when you're a superstar...He's just happy not to be in San Antonio...

Guys, he staying. No doubt about it. Funny part is I was saying no chance in October/November, now I'm telling you all to chill as he is 100% staying. He'll at least sign a plus 1 deal.

^ agreed. He's staying. It has to do with something on the business side he just signed. 100% a Raptor next season. But a smart man to take meetings with other teams to learn the lay of the land for future considerations.

Kawhi got a lucrative new deal from New Balance, which was partially celebrated at Drake's garish party in Vegas. He's also suing Nike for the rights to his Klaw logo.

If he celebrates his birthday on the 29th in town - he's staying.
