One SP told me that the blue board charges a fee to have negative reviews deleted, she use to advertise there but has since retired. I can't remember if it is one time or monthly.
As a result these practices, horrible SP's can have a false online perception and plenty of first timers will have wasted their money. I will admit that I have seen an SP who was terrible, just for the gossip. Those days are done now.
Paying someone to delete a bad review is a waste of money. Here’s a simple fact. The second you start deleting the bad review it moves into the PM system. The clients haven’t really quit writing bad reviews in Alberta. They pass information about SP’s using the PM system.
As painful as it can be to have to deal with a review written in the public forum, it’s 100 times worse when the PM system becomes the review board. You can’t defend yourself in the PM system. People can say whatever they want without accountability or repercussions.
If fake a review or revenge review is posted in the forum, you have the ability to defend yourself and the reputation of your business. You’ve also put yourself in a very bad position where the reputation of your business in now in the hands of someone who doesn’t care about integrity.
How can you trust a person to help with a serious problem if it’s not their interest to do anything?
