Cynthia is trying to move on with her life now.
Hope things work out for her.
Rumour has it she's hooking up with Frank D'Angelo now.

I'm thinking a definite mid-life crisis. Pic from his twitter account, he's starting to look like a very old man

You're a lawyer, so I presume you've seen lots of cases where the cops are in the wrong.

So I figure, "we'll see"

Maybe Bullard has just seen too many romantic comedies where boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back (through trying real hard). Only thing is Bullard is 59 and not 19 and he should have fucking known better.
From what the article mentions as well what Oagre has stated it would have to be a lot more than police made a mistake, it would have to be a huge case of police corruption setting out to frame Mr. Bullard. Such situations get the huge publicity they do, not only because they so egregiously offend the commonweal but also because they are so exceedingly rare.

Hence place your money on he sent hundreds of e-mails and contacted her after being under order not to. Rather than he sent three e-mails and is being framed.

Who said anything about corruption.

Look at Schlong's post where he relayed his own story where the cops essentially said, "let the courts settle it".

This could very well be the case. You get a high profile woman in the media complaining about Bullard harassing her and the cops just can't do nothing about it. They figure (correctly) that it's a political hot potato given the current politics of the day in Ontario and Canada. So they figure "fuck it, charge him and let the courts deal with it". I actually get it. That way the cops can say, "hey, we took action" and if he's innocent, the courts will find him so. Out of our hands.

Compared to Ghomeshi, this one is child's play, yet already Bullard is being made out to be some sort of monster, he's lost his job (before he was found guilty - I mean, what the fuck is that?) and he's living at a friend's house as some sort of quasi parole or something.

When there is a woman screaming harassment, no matter what, she is believed and it's a case of guilty until proven otherwise.

Call me old school, or maybe just jaded, but I'm going to give Bullard the benefit of the doubt.

If the cops can show hundreds of emails and texts and scores of unwelcome visits, and repeated cease and desist - well then he's guilty.

But I haven't read any of this, nor is there any context behind it all.

So we'll wait and see. Look what a steaming piece of shit Ghomeshi's trial turned out to be with 2 definite liars on the stand and one "I'm not so sure". People were screaming for his head. He was figuratively lynched in the media and definitely turned into a pariah.

Nobody showed up in court to-day. Trial put over until December 9th. Plea bargain in the works?

Never the safest place
So calling your ex 3 or 4 times constitutes criminal harrassment now??...
It's not just about phone calls and text messages. The Star article also mentions:
According to the police charges filed in court, Bullard’s pattern of harassment continued. On Oct. 12, he was allegedly spotted at Mulligan’s home despite a court order to stay away. Police allege that he was also seen at her home on Oct. 16.
Apparently only a few hours before the story became public this week, Massey Hall had announced and started selling tickets for a New Year's Eve comedy show headlined by Bullard. They quickly removed his name and image from their website, and now Mike MacDonald is there instead.

Another website has not caught up yet.

Mike apparently still isnt getting the message. He breached his bail conditions 4 times:

Mike Bullard freed on bail after fourth breach of conditions

Toronto radio host Mike Bullard was freed on bail Wednesday, hours after surrendering to police after being charged with a fourth breach of his bail conditions.

Bullard, 60, stepped into custody at 55 Division on Wednesday, and was taken to College Park courts in custody in the early afternoon.

Bullard was released on a $2,500 bail by Justice of the Peace Mohammed Brihmi. Juno award-winning country music star Brian Good and his wife, Susan, are Bullard’s newest sureties.

The couple, who celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary Wednesday, are long-time friends of Bullard. He must now live with the couple in their Beeton, Ont. home.

Bullard, who was charged last fall with criminal harassment for allegedly repeatedly contacting ex-girlfriend and CityNews reporter Cynthia Mulligan after their relationship ended, allegedly breached his previous bail by moving from his last surety’s home in Stouffville without getting court approval first.

Bullard remains on conditions to stay away from Mulligan and any place he knows that she frequents.

Since he was charged with harassment last year, Bullard allegedly breached court conditions to stay away from Mulligan and was charged with obstructing justice for trying to get her to have the initial charges dropped.

Bullard and his lawyer Bill Halkiw declined comment after the contested bail hearing.

A publication ban was imposed on the proceedings.

Bullard’s case will return to court on Aug. 4.

Bullard and Bell Media parted ways after the allegations were made

I've interacted with Cynthia Mulligan on a business level and she is one hot milf, a beauty, can't say that I blame Bullard for being obsessed with her.
