Its all related to Motion 103, which asks for Canada to stand against Islamophobia.

The alt-right, galgesin, types think its an attack on freedom of speech to not be able to slander Muslims.
Really its just stating that Islamophobia is as bad as anti-semitism.

The motion needs to go through and we need to condemn the racists who were there yelling at Muslims.

15 protesters make news, really? This is biased reporting in order to fuel the narrative that Islam is under attack.
The vast majority of Canadians support the rights of Muslims to worship their faith.

Any discussion about Muslims is divisive and quickly becomes hysterical. There are reasons why rational people have genuine concerns about a religion that, inter-alia, attracts over 180 Canadians to join ISIS (aka DAESH) and commits violence against women.

I'm sorry but you're talking about a few bus-loads at best, and only if your numbers are true. Ignorance is a bigger danger, and stupidity and prejudice are far more deadly.

Rational people who have genuine concerns about the beliefs of others spend time talking to a wide range of those believers to discover the basis for their concerns. They don't lump them all into one mass by a single label, and judge by what they think they heard about the acts of a few individuals. Muslims are no more 'all the same' than Protestants. Or bikers.

anywhere i want;)
At the end of the day the message is clear. This was NOT an appropriate place to hold this protest , this is NOT ok anywhere for that matter.
As was stated above this is a hate crime from people who are my guess trump supporters and trying to bring all that hatred over to Canada. I'm sorry but Islamic people have never done anything to Canada to make us react this way. We have always welcomed people from various different nations to our fine country that we call home and this is not ACCEPTABLE as Canadians. WE are labelled in the world as PEACEMAKERS, this is not very peaceful if you ask me.
These people need to be charged and dealt with accordingly. if this happened outside of a catholic church or any other place of worship I'm sure that HALF of you would be furious.
Racism, being prejudice , and being ignorant to another culture or religion is NOT ACCEPTABLE for anybody ! We all have our beliefs, values and morals and should be respected even if you don't agree with them.

But you think its acceptable in other places to stand outside Mosques with megaphones and yell hate messages?

lol "more than a dozen". are we at all surprised there's like 12 ignorant people in downtown toronto? the fact that this is supposed to be news or an indicator of anything sort of makes me think that things really aren't as bad as the media or the leftists want to believe.
When a gang of racists show up and yell insults it makes the news in this country.
It doesn't happen that often, fortunately.

If there were only 12 people you might have a point about it not being a big deal, but while 12 people showed up to yell insults about 50,000 just stuck to hateful emails.

12 people shouting isn't as bad, but one person with a gun certainly is.

And that's the real news story. A few ignorant fucks wanted to protest, quickly went away and then a bunch of non-muslims launched a counter protest.

I was just curious on where you think its appropriate to yell insults at Muslims?
To name but three: outside the Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, outside the Houses of Parliament, outside of 24 Sussex Drive.

However that is regarding immigration policy not shouting insults at Muslims in general.

Are you claiming that the crowd was only there discussing immigration policy?

The more I read your comments, the more I'm convinced you're a real birdbrain.
