T.O.
DO NOT START USING PROPECIA. THAT DRUG HAS LEFT MANY GUYS WITH LIMP DICKS AND BITCH TITS.
Exaggeration and fear mongering. Those are the most severe of side effects that a very small proportion of men under clinical observation have reported.

The most common observable side-effect reported is a reduction in semen volume; some men may also experience mild erectile dysfunction initially as they adjust to the drug. Neither are permanent.

I've been taking Propecia for over 15 years. Works great. I'd highly recommend.
Seconded. 10+ years for me with no complaints, but a great reduction in rate of hair loss.

Try it. If you observe side-effects you don't like, you can simply discontinue without cessation symptoms typical of other (and more serious) drugs.

Many problems don't start until you quit the drug. If/when you get off propecia, I'd do a slow taper to zero.
Propecia does indeed decrease libido in many men. The standard 1mg pill is also too much for many men. Better is Dudasteride, that has no such effect on libido (for me, anyway compared to Propecia). Both are used for reducing prostate size, and both have as side effect the reduction of Dihydrotestosterone that is directly related to male baldness.

BTW, if you take either for whatever purpose, they reduce your PSA levels by almost 50%. So if you take a PSA test while taking either of those drugs, you have to multiply the result by 2, otherwise, the lower resulting value can mislead into thinking that you have a lower probability of prostate cancer. They originally thought that a reduction of PSA due to taking propecia reduced the likelihood of prostate cancer. The reality is that studies have shown that there is no difference in mortality due to prostate cancer between those who have taken propecia or dutasteride, and those who have not. In fact, taking either of those drugs may mask a tumour that would normally have been detected after a complaint of enlarged prostate symptoms.

On top of yo mama!
1.buy propecia to keep what u got left.
2. buy minoxidil to try to grow back what u lost. use the 5% version. its available in canada by prescription for something like $200 for a 3 pack. or you could go pay $55 across the borders at any walgreens/duane reade.
3. Buy Nizoral shampoo to complement above.

cant guarantee anything but should slow down the hairloss dramatically.

p.s. i am still hornier than a jack rabbit. ED doesnt happen to everyone.

Where do you get it from? It is so expensive!

In third world countries you get the more potent version used to treat prostate cancer for a fraction of the price. Please PM me. Thx.

You only have two options. Shave it or wear a wig. The former is the best option. Wearing a piece would be disgusting and require lots of maintenance.

Drugs or crazy schemes to regrow hair are either false or harmful to your health.

1. Hair transplants require you to get on Propecia for life so that the non-transplanted hair around the transplanted zone doesn't fall off.

2. Anytime you fuck with your body's natural hormonal going ons for anything less than a absolute medical (NOT cosmetic) reason, you're playing with fire.

Think about it.

Eh?
Go natural as always and do a number 1 or 2 or get a haircut that doesn't over emphasize what you're trying to hide.

Canadian class action lawsuit against Merck by guys who took Propecia and got ED. OP: consider the risk that hair transplant require Propecia to be taken for life and eventually, as with any medication, even this med will stop working as your body gets used to it. Nobody is making this shit up for spreading exaggerated fear. It's true - I took half a pill and I went from a bull to a stromboni in a day!

transplants are very expensive as MDs have a monopoly and waaaay overcharge on a simple procedure

they all have professional salesmen, I mean associates, working for them

so get this, you go to a MD for a elective procedure and they have a professional salesman try to talk you into it, instead of out of it, and in case they fuck it up they make you sign a waiver after you have paid and 10 minutes before the procedure

haggle with them

if they need clients they will come down

you have no real way to find how competent they are, or any MD for that matter, as they do not give references and the association for MDs will not confirm complaints as they are the MDs union
