All that hot air about bullying and discrimination, but when the rubber meets the road the girls take a seat. And there's no one around to say " just wait one goddamed minute". Oh, well...

Unfortunately the girls chose to take a seat because their team needed points, which they would not have got if the came ended in forfeit.
I'd like to think that if the boys were made aware of the situation during the game they would have made a stand, but they probably weren't aware of it until after.
The funny thing is, these two teams may face each other again in the playoffs.
If they do, I say screw forfeiture. The officials should keep the game going, if the ignorant fools chose not to take to the pitch, that's their problem.
Instead of asking the opposing team to remove the two girls, I would have insisted that they remove their goalie and best scorer. My God is jealous and proud, and does not want any of his followers to be losers. It's a religious thing.
can you pull out the muslim card if youre not muslim? like if im playing a team with some girls on it and theyre kicking our ass, can we say "hey im muslim, she cant play"?
so let me get this straight. muslim guys arent allowed to touch girls they dont know? is this just in soccer or everywhere? doesnt this happen throughout the day? in clubs? in hospitals? when theyre arrested? etc? ive never heard of this.

I'm disgusted with the coach and captain of the girls team. I know they kept playing to gain more points, but sometimes standing up for your teammate is more important. Even if she offered to sit they should have refused. Shame on the coach and captain for their cowardly behaviour and failure to set an example of leadership for the other kids.
I think there are some Human Rights Commission and/or court cases that says sports teams must allow both males and females on the same team, except when they play a Muslim team in which case the females must "voluntarily" sit out or the non-Muslim team team will lose by default.
Not only should they forfeit the game, but they should be banned from the league. This goes to my point about the discussion on private schools on the other thread. You get shitheads like this all jammed together in some shithead school all being thought SHIT. The should be forced into public schools. Their school should have its status revoked. We do not want this sort of rubbish behavior in our society.
Women are always allowed to compete against men, but due to their lesser physical strength in general, no woman would ever be able to compete with a man on the same level in sports. Now of course a WTA player could crush most male tennis players but against male pros, Serena Williams would not even make the top 300. But in motorsports they compete, equestrian as well I think.

I think a couple of female hockey players have played on men's teams. However, I don't think men are allowed to play on women's teams, just like male reporters are not allowed in women's dressing rooms.
You've got it backwards bud these are your allies fighting against the Liberal gay agenda. After all "religious right" isn't limited to Christians nowadays.

In most cases womens sports exist to provide an option for women to participate. But when it about the absolute best, men just have more power and strength. In gymnastics I probably enjoy womens as much as mens as there are disciplines that involve balance as well as power. I would say in that sport, maybe figure skating, women bring as much as men to the sport and are as marketable....maybe more.
