Forcing someone to eat corn on the cob, that would be hawt!
Were you also eating corn on the cob? That would be hawt.Driving around with the windows open on a day like today.
Just got back from some of that. :thumb:
Sounds like a great idea - in theory, but would be far too messy with all the butter dripping down my chin, and two hands required to eat the corn. Were you also eating corn on the cob? That would be hawt.

FRESH-just now picked buttered corn on the cob with salt and smoked cracked black pepper, and sliced tomatoes with salt and smoked cracked black pepper, a grass fed local farmer's NY strip steak on a charcoal fire and a bowl of wild blueberries with Kawartha Dairy vanilla ice cream. And an ICE cold Labatts Blue
Ditch the Blue and give me a nice Pinot Noir instead.Ontario late summer dinner at the cottage with FRESH-just now picked buttered corn on the cob with salt and smoked cracked black pepper, and sliced tomatoes with salt and smoked cracked black pepper, a grass fed local farmer's NY strip steak on a charcoal fire and a bowl of wild blueberries with Kawartha Dairy vanilla ice cream. Actually, truth be known I'm more of a red wine (a Brunello if you bring some over!) guy but the one time I REALLY enjoy a beer is a late summer afternoon steak.corn/tomatoes/blueberries dinner. And it used to be John Labbatt Classic Light! So crisp and cold!!!Ditch the Blue and give me a nice Pinot Noir instead.
Oh yeahhhh I'm all about the good olive oil but not for steak dinner. Smoked salt and pepper only. Olive oil on tomatoes with a soft DOP buffala mozzarella and fresh basil for lunch! And put some really good olive oil on those tomatoes... which have been in the fridge for about an hour after being picked together with that corn.
You and I are the only two that I know that drink Grand Marnier on ice! My go-to after dinner or late evening drink :thumb:And if it's all right with you, a Grand Marnier over the rocks afterwards, please...
