Racism from Providers

I have heard from a few lovely gents that they have experienced racism from providers. Some who were asked straight up what race they were and when they answered, they were flat out rejected.. I found this quite shocking.. but I am wondering how many clients have experienced this?
Also, a question for the providers is whether you have a preference for particular races... I guess it's a tough question, but I actually have read on some provider websites, -"no blacks and no indian". I am just curious how common this is???

Her place
many of those that say no black guys are scams and have poor service. they're afraid of scamming black men
Hahaha. Yep, that must be it.

There are the ones with pimps who want to avoid other potential pimps, the ones who have been burned in the past and make generalizations, the ones who happen to prefer certain 'types', and probably a few other reasons.

Escorting is the only line of work I can think of where you can pull that off, but you CAN pull it off and it's their choice so it is what it is. If she won't see you, those 50 will.

I can't complain though, other than one rejection for being under 40  I have yet to find myself in an excluded category

When I see "no black guys" it makes my skin crawl. FFS have the sensitivity to say something like "For personal reasons I do not see African American gentlemen". Apart from anything else it is less offensive to WHITE men like myself who will definitely never see an escort that posts "no black guys". A lady might not want to see a person of colour for a variety of reasons, including racism. I can tell you from discussing this issue with many escorts that there are several reasons why some escorts do not want to see African American gentlemen NONE of which are racist. They are entitled to those preferences. Just like some escorts have upper and lower age preferences, weight limits etc.

So a Jamaican Canadian should be fine then? Interesting double standard there that you are white, but that guy is "African American", even if he hails from neither place.

One asked if I was EI or Black, she said for personal reasons, she did not entertain clients who were one of the two. I responded, and was declined. It was as polite as it could be I guess, but her body her choice, so it didn't bother me. I don't think that's racism simply because it's not a regular sort of service industry. It's as personal as you can get.

Frankly, I rather SPs be upfront about it. I can go to ones that do not have an issue with seeing people of my race, and I rather be with someone who is comfortable with me.

Most of those ads are posted by SPs that date black guys almost exclusively or are pimped by black guys.

This is an interesting topic. I'm a PoC, I've always wondered if other hobbyist do this as well, but when initiating contact for the first time with an SP you have never seen before, do you mention your ethnicity? I always wrestle with that question as I write my introductory email, never too sure on whether I should or shouldn't, given that many have the 'no black guys rule'. I mean, when a lady has listed in her ad that you should provide your ethnicity then I do so, respecting her screening process. But when she doesn't, do any of you bother mentioning it? I'm always unsure about whether I should or not.

One lady told me she doesn't see Black men because it reduces the chances of seeing someone with an uncomfortably large dick. Sadly, I didn't screw up her statistics lol.

Yes there's that too, current pimps don't want prospecting pimps stealing their girls. Sometimes it's also previous bad experiences... Or just preference, especially with the no black or EI one.

In the same way that hobbyists are free to see providers of whatever race or colour we choose, shouldn't said providers have the same freedom of choice?
Unfortunately for the providers, their choices can't always be kept under wraps.

I'm not sure how excluding anyone based on race could be construed as anything other than racist?

Similarly, how would one categorize those 1/4 this, 1/8th that, the majority born in Canada or elsewhere?

Sounds like some ticky boxes might be in order for such kind of screening!

Then you not looking at the total picture IMO, just your view of Racism -i could visit any race if she fit my sexual desire in a lady- i will not, could not have sex etc with a bbw under any situation, does that make me discriminatory , as i have some big ladies as friends just not my thing in the sack -my choice no matter the reason

I'm confused then. Would not wanting to see, say a BBW (whatever one's definition is) be like not wanting to see someone of a certain race? Also, I just don't know how to make sense of race cuz it doesn't seem so clear cut. I agree in the notion of choice; I just find it hard to decipher based on certain categories though...

I'm seeing more ads like that up on backpage. I am mixed myself so I could probably almost pass for anything I make-up about myself so I haven't tested it out. But you can't take a business decision that's based on personal safety personal. It could be that that SP may like black men apart from that work but not as a client.
