I've just been told that my prognosis is not good. I have cancer all over my body. My neck, left shoulder, spine, hips and femur. It has also metastasized to my lungs and perhaps my colon and thyroid. I'm just waiting to find out how much time (approx.) I have left to get my affairs in order. Thanks to those who are my friends here and hopefully the ones who aren't, will at least wish me the best.

Hi Petzel.

I pray that those doctors have miscalculated the time left, so live it up but don't overdo it so you can enjoy life longer (usually they are conservative because they are afraid of giving false hope).

Be with your loved ones, get your affairs in order and remember that it is quality not necessarily quantity of life.

I don't want to sound morbid either but maybe arrange to meet with a funeral director together with your family so you can control how you'd like it to be.

Our boy is much more likely to find comfort in the arms of one of the lovely ladies known to persons hereabouts. I'm sure some of the ladies actually specialize in comforting people who are being put through the wringer.
