I have no problem admitting IF I am wrong.

Please look again at the video, at 0:40 Petrovic clearly dropped his glove, Kadri appeared to be still fully gloved and TURNING away from the fight, and up to this point I HAVE NO PROBLEM.

I will state again that my opinion is: DO NOT throw punch when the other guy is on the ice, restrained by your teammate or the ref, that's cheap shot. I know that it happens from time to time on NHL, and I would just lose a lot of respect for the guy who does it.
Correct and several seconds later, from a different camera angle, you clearly see Kadri's bare hand on Petrovic's shoulder with Fraser still not engaged.
Kadri was engaged and willing to go. Not his fault Fraser came in.

Let's just drop it, I am hearten to know you are in love with Kadri :D. I like him too, just wish he is out the this little slump soon for the playoffs, AND stay away from this sh*t on the ice. He is too valuable to be fighting, let alone against this big dude Petrovic.

Some how I knew that was coming. You attack him, I defend and out comes the comment that 'I love him'.
So I can stiil see Kadri willing to go. You cannot admit that point.

Conn Symthe was the President of the HOF and he lobbied hard to prevent Busher from being inducted into the HOF while he was alive. Just Google Conn Symthe Busher Jackson and read about how badly Conn Smythe and the Leafs treated Busher in retirement. Some people believe that Busher was the best left winger ever, while others consider him only second to the great Bobby Hull.
BTW: The Gordie Howe movie is on TV to-night.
When are they going make the hockey version of Jackie Robinson?

The Bruins-Senators game to-night is on NBC starting at 7PM. If the Bruins lose, they play the Leafs.
Ottawa controls their fate and 5 other eastern conference team's fate. With so much at stake. Why is the game not on CBC tonight? Oh yeah some guy named Gordie Howe.

Ottawa wins they play the Habs or Ottawa loses they play the PENS or Ottawa gets a point they play the Bruins.

I'll take 5 20 goal scorers or 4 30 goal scorers over 1 Maurice Richard trophy winner any day. Remember Phil Kessel is only 25 and getting better in a number of areas. Had this gone 82 games it could have been his best season. Is he a Crosby or Stamcos, not yet, but then where did Corey Perry come from when he won? Most of the other Leafs are brand new.
Balanced scoring is always better. What if Ovechkin goes down with an injury? Who does the scoring for Washington? The Bruins won the cup with balanced scoring, they have 4 lines that can score.

Kadri has come a long way from the day Burke drafted him and Ottawa wanted to trade for him, to the years in the Marlies to now. He is a RFA and expect him to ask for $3-4 million per season.

Kessel was by far the best offensive weapon the Leafs had this year, Kadri was the only one even in the same area code. The armchair amateurs observers who dump on him are just plain wrong.

And Kessel has more points than those 2 Boston draft picks combined. If the Leafs do end up playing Boston and Kessel gets over his fear of Boston then we can say Burke Really made a good trade for Kessel. If Lupul wasn't injured he too would been another offensive weapon and JVR had a decent season.

OK! I LOVE HIM as a player, not as a fighter then :D.

Tell me if Kadri pumping fist into Petrovic AFTER Petrovic already down and restrained by Fraser is ACCEPTABLE in your eyes, then I'll admit I'm wrong, can you?

I like Kadri skills, I am delighted that this year he is not shying away from contact like previous years. He has not shown ME class in fighting yet. I am NOT looking for him to be McLaren, but I hope that he understand when to throw a punch, when to stop.

There are unwritten rules for fighting in the NHL, you DON'T: head butt, pulling hair, biting, scratching :)D), kicking, keep punching when other guy fall down... among it I think fighter should recognize opponent is not a punching bag when your teammate ties up his hand already. This is not school yard brawl, it is on TV, in front of national audience.

I was referring to making a movie about Willie O'Ree on CBC, like 42 the movie about Jackie Robinson.
Well that point wasn't too clear in your OP, but it's already been done back in the late 90's, a short documetary, but not by CBC. There also has been similar documentaries about other trailblazers like Fred Sasakamoose, the first native Canadian to play in the NHL. He was not a Jackie Robinson, staying around for only a dozen games or so, but he was before George Armstrong, Grant Fuhr 20+ others over the years, and the dozen or so native players presently in the league.

Well here we are 1-1 so far.
Still need a #1 center ... same old same old
It ends 26-17-5 fifth spot in the East and a playoff date with Boston.

... and they still need a true number one center.

The video ..... ah nevermind.

Moving on .... the Leafs have improved.
Kadri has grown more then anyone thought as a player. There is differing opinion in his decision making when a fight breaks out, but for the most part Leaf fans seem happy with his progress. He still has room to improve clearly.
Reimer had a good season.
Kessel seems to be coming on at the right time, but playoffs are a different animal. Add to the fact that Boston is the opponent ...
Lupul has been a pleasent surprise.
Frattin never regained the mo-jo he had before he was injured.

In any event ... on to the playoffs !

Go Leafs !
