Spinners why are they popular?

imo, spinners are not small skinny girls. They're still curvy in the right places and most items are proportionate. They're just petite.
I think for a lot of guys it's about control.

I guess I've always equated spinners with very skinny or boney women. Perhaps the OP should have used the term skinny instead? Skinny or obese ladies are outside my normal preference but everything in between works for me just fine. Small or large breasts...love 'em all! Her hips need to be somewhat proportioned though. ie small breasts with a large behind or the reverse doesn't work for me very well.
I am not a big fan of so called spinners, I am a fan of anything nice that breaths and moves lol. This being said, when I do see a skinny girl, all I think about is how I could break her in half! Don't take this the wrong way, I am not violent, its more of how hard and deep I want to do her. My 2 cents.
As eluded to, everyone has their own preferences. I find smaller/petite women exude femininity, and am really not attracted to bigger women. Even if the bigger woman is well preportioned, she wont do much for me. Dont ask me why....I dont know myself. We are all wired differently. Aside from the physical attraction I dont want to feel like I'm putting my arms around a warm refrigerator (larger woman) during intimate moments, or otherwise. Multiple different positions are easier with a petite woman than a larger woman. Another is most men can feel like a porn star by watching their unit enter a smaller woman. It is simply larger by perportion. Overall it is 95% physical for me....they can get my heart a racing.

I have a huge boob problem - and that likely removes spinners from the equation.

I was never a huge fan of spinners. I had nothing against them, I was more or less neutral towards them.
Until I met a spinner with an exceptional attitude and personality. She showed me things I had never experienced before.
Along the way, I learned to appreciate all the wonders a spinner brings to the table, both figuratively and literally speaking.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the fact that they are built more like "girls", rather than "women". For some guys, that must be a mitigating factor.

Well, my point # 3 is the pro side of the argument, but frankly, I saw one spinner who was 86 pounds, and I felt she was too tiny (mitigating factor I suppose), although she was fun to be with.
