Sorry it really is matching how you plan or getting money in your hands to spend. And I am far from an expert in how you are going to do that with your money.

I guess the simple answer is if you have enough education and brains you can find most things on the internet. Is there a point to your babbling little guy?

part 2

For you vanishing would be easy. :)

For an adult to do it that way would be a little worrisome, since you become a man without a country. And have no income. Just two of those stupid things adults thin about.

finally, adults vanish all the time and live good easy comfortable lives. you don't need money to live or a country. that is small minded thinking.

Miss C

Do you know off the top what countries have low or no income tax on foreign earned personal income for non-citizen residents?

Of course they do. And if you are living a marginal life style I am certain you can continue it anywhere. Now go play in your little shelter and go wait for a school buss :)

Ohhhh ok little guy. You can be our token hundredaire who lives in a shack in the woods and digs out a nice shelter to hide in :)

Hun, the moment you take out a huge loan to bye a boat and take off..... well taxes are the least of your problem. But that is ok, go off and be happy.

sorry hun, explaining any thing to you is a waste of time. Clearly you have never sailed into sovereign waters. Anyone who goes from international waters to Sovereign waters understands that maritime law exists and skipping out with a boat you do not own is a wee bit of a problem. ").

how exactly will they find you ? do cops just sail around behind every boat ? or is there a line of buoys in the water with a sign that reads "don't go past here if you still have boat payments".

How would "they" find you if you borrowed money to buy a boat and skipped?

Well first off, few if any lenders will finance a live-aboard boats without the borrower having an extremely high credit score, substantial assets and at least 50% down on the boat. And NONE will finance a foreign registered vessel. And the loan will be registered. So you will have a Canadian registered boat and not be able to transfer it into another foreign registry.

Then when you skip out on your loan, the bank will hire what is called a "Skip Tracer" to find you. And they are much smarter than a simpleton meathead who would try it.

If it is clear you never intended to repay the loan, the bank may file a criminal complaint of fraud. An international warrant may be put out for your arrest. So when you arrive for fuel, or to cash in some of your Canadian Tire money for some coconuts, you will get picked up by some Banana Republic Customs and Immigration officer and "detained".

I could go on but suffice to say your plan is little more than a Jimmy Buffet fantasy.

Unless you intend to remain at sea forever and never make land, you will need to check in with Customs in every country. That leaves a trail that is stone cold easy to follow by any Skip Tracer. Easy.

But you wouldn't be able to borrow any money anyways so it is a purely ridiculous timewasting discussion. That I am happy to participate in!

again you are expecting someone that plans on stealing a boat to follow certain laws. also you are taking my joke to a point that it wasn't meant to go.

there are islands out there, that are civilized and have no customs. you can go live with pygmy's or just find an empty island altogether and enjoy the quiet life and live on the local plants and animals.

Look into Anguila for a decent combination of accessibility/stability/privacy. A lot of places have what you suggest but the banks won't talk to you unless you're a major player (esp. Cayman Islands). Hong Kong is good but far and you have to present yourself in person to open the bank account. Not expensive but a PIA if you're a busy professional. Bahamas wants nominee directors which has some risks associated with it.

Anguila.

Not to mention that the documents you sign to get the loan make it the banks till you pay it off.

And most jerk water Harbour Masters and customs guys would love to grab you for the reward when the bank adds your name and boat to the list.

Did I mention that if you try and sneak in, you look a lot like a smuggler or drug runner, and they will use all resources possible to apprehend you?

Isn't t a pain how reality sucks and has so many rules? Best to run away and live in the buried shelter in the forest. No income so no taxes LOL
