"Squeezes" between two triple word scores?
Nope, but admittedly one of the more likely. I am looking for the theoretically best possible score, would really have to be a perfect storm of letters on your rack annd other letters on the board to happen.

Given the right 'triple word scores' a nice mental image though :)

Who was the first female singer to have 3 Top 40 hits on Billboard at the same time? (hint early 1970's)
Belive it or not, Melanie (of Candles in the Rain fame).

The follow-up single to "Brand New Key" was "Ring the Living Bell". To compete with this release, Melanie's former record company released "The Nickel Song", which she had recorded while still signed to Buddah Records. Both songs were simultaneous Top 40 hits while "Brand New Key" was still on the charts — setting a record for the first female performer to have three Top 40 hits concurrently.Melanie was awarded Billboard's #1 Top Female Vocalist award for 1972.

Tom Hanks and Bruce Springsteen are good friends since youth.

Bruce Springsteen wasn't always as popular as he is now. In the early 1990s, it almost looked like he was rocking on fumes, struggling to stay relevant as he did his own thing. Then, Tom Hanks came along to play a gay lawyer with AIDS fighting workplace discrimination in a powerful movie that needed an equally ground-breaking theme song.
