Actually, this is a completely false statement. But apparently that's acceptable in this thread.
You haven't been following this thread very closely. Most of what CC considers trivia is just speculation and conjecture on his part; a figment of his imagination!

Well, that being that is what you think, then I suspect you two will not be wasting any more of your time on this thread. Pick up your refunds on the way out.

Which star is closest to our Sun, (and it's not Alpha Centauri).
Proxima Centauri, a red dwarf star invisible to the naked eye, is the closest known star to the Earth, at a distance of about 4.2 light years. It is believed to be part of a triple star system, with Alpha Centauri and Beta Centauri.

No it was not about the Great London Fire.

I recall reading that it was about the plague. The hush-a, hush-a, we all fall down is really more like achoo, achoo, we all fall down. (??) I know that sneezing was one of the first signs of having the plague.... when someone sneezed during that period, people would say "May God bless you" which is where that tradition originated.

You are correct, you win the grand prize!..................A 2012 Humperoni Deluxe!

The nursery rhyme "Ring Around the Rosey" is a rhyme about the plague. Infected people with the plague would get red circular sores (”Ring around the rosey…”), these sores would smell very badly so common folks would put flowers on their bodies somewhere (inconspicuously), so that it would cover the smell of the sores (”…a pocket full of posies…”), People who died from the plague would be burned so as to reduce the possible spread of the disease (”…ashes, ashes, we all fall down!”)
