I forwarded a client to this service, the idea was to book a hotel without him having to provide paper trail. When the client got to the hotel to check in, the clerk requested a CC. Defeated the purpose of booking through copycraigs.

I've used Copycraigs before, get asked for a credit card as well, even though the room is paid for. I don't have a SO so it's not an issue for me to provide one for incidentals. But yeah it does defeat the purpose of no papertrail..

He provides great rooms at upscale hotels all over the city for a low price, better than priceline, hotwire, etc. He can better explain the system to you, it's easy. I usually just do text communication with him and he sets it all up for me.

if i remember right ain't there a member here that is affiliated with these guys and his name is copycraigs. i bet he could fill you in on everything you need to know.

My only time trying them was a few days before New Years (not on NYE). They only quoted 3 places, and the prices were no better than the websites.
