I remember thinking............."They put the $%&*^&&* folder in his hand.!!!!!!!!!....Aug.6th.2001..."Bin Laden determined to attack in U.S".Possible Hi-jackings were mentioned.I try and forget that day...Perry 2012
I remember being really confused as I wandered downtown and saw the TV reports at a magazine store trying to piece together what happened..day was a bit foggy to be honest. I was concerned about one of my cousins who lived near the WTC. I finally found out in late afternoon he was okay but watched as the second plane flew in. I forgot about my other family because they lived more uptown. I later learned that my other cousin was injured while going to a meeting at the WTC. She was about to enter building when the first plane hit. She got knocked out. She didn't know how long she was out but when she came to a "jumper" landed right in front of her. I remember Rudy and Bush stepping up.
Yes, I recall hearing about it, and turning on the television in the office just in time to see the second plane hit, and knowing at that moment that contrary to what had been said up to that point, this was an act of terrorism, rather than some aircraft off course.
For all those who will spew hind sight thoughts, I say BUNK.
The fact is a groups of cowards chose to kill innocents in order to destroy the USA.

Directors of one of the world’s largest armament companies are planning on meeting in Lisbon in three weeks time. The American based Carlyle Group is heavily involved in supplying arms to the Coalition forces fighting in the Iraqi war.
It also holds a majority of shares in the Seven Up company and Federal Data Corporation, supplier of air traffic control surveillance systems to the US Federal Aviation Authority. The 12 billion dollar company has recently signed contracts with United Defence Industries to equip the Turkish and Saudi Arabian armies with aviation defence systems.
Top of the meeting’s agenda is expected to be the company’s involvement in the rebuilding of Baghdad’s infrastructure after the cessation of current hostilities. Along with several other US companies, the Carlyle Group is expected to be awarded a billion dollar contract by the US Government to help in the redevelopment of airfields and urban areas destroyed by Coalition aerial bombardments.
The Group is managed by a team of former US Government personnel including its president Frank Carlucci, former deputy director of the CIA before becoming Defence Secretary. His deputy is James Baker II, who was Secretary of State under George Bush senior. Several high profile former politicians are employed to represent the company overseas, among them John Major, former British Prime Minister, along with George Bush senior, one time CIA director before becoming US President.
The financial assets of the Saudi Binladen Corporation (SBC) are also managed by the Carlyle Group. The SBC is headed up by members of Osama bin Laden’s family, who played a principle role in helping George W. Bush win petroleum concessions from Bahrain when he was head of the Texan oil company, Harken Energy Corporation - a deal that was to make the Bush family millions of dollars. Salem, Osama bin Laden’s brother, was represented on Harken’s board of directors by his American agent, James R. Bath.
The connection between the Bush and bin Laden families can also be traced to the collapse of the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) in the 1990s. Members of the Anglo Pakistani bank’s board of directors included Richard Helms and William Casey, business partners of George Bush senior and former CIA agents. After the financial crisis I question the innocence of Wall Street. I also wonder if history will record the attack as laying the seeds of the end of American hegemony. The stark fact is, the events it triggered have cost the US 4-7 trillion depending on how you measure it. As much as 1/3 of Americas debt is from 911 triggered events. While I don't support the act or it's thinking, I think one should at least pause and consider if some of the more evil activities of the US might be curtailed and support for repressive regimes be withdrawn. Perhaps 911 even triggered the Arab Spring. So the impact is still definitely unfolding.

He's not responsible, but maybe they coulda got OBL earlier if they really tried, and diverted their attention away from Iraq.
Mind you, there are those who believe 9/11 was payback for American 'imperialistic' policies, but I think that's always a biased viewpoint or scapegoat.
