I agree, since she doesn't have any video evidence, it's "allegedly", but on the other hand he really has behaved that way numerous times in the past. It's in character, so it's a believable story.

If I remember correctly it was when Maggie returned from her
escapade to New York where she had spent the weekend partying
with Mick Jaggar. Apparently it was a beating for good measure
rather than a case of wife abuse.
