Because thousands of gallons of burning jet fuel couldn't possibly melt steal..... and fuck... the 2 biggest buildings in the world collapsing would in no way cause any meaningful structural damage to the 40 story building next to it...


Perhaps these 1000 architects are more qualified to collect tolls on the NJ Turnpike....

The overwhelming majority of New Jersey state employees are courteous, hard-working individuals eager to aid the public for whom they work. And then there is the small number of toll collectors employed by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority who regularly go rogue on motorists.

Hey, there is some validity to this. Think about it.
The amount of time, resource and dedication to be an Architect is comparable to being in the medical field.

These are professionals that have real world extensive experience in producing "complicated" buildings that we live, play and work in.

If an architect questions the integrity of your home -- wouldn't you listen?

Everyone knows Pearl Harbor never happened... It was a clever way to draw attention to a group of small Islands, draw tourists for economic prosperity, and make a future president. Yes, it was a historic day when we (and by we, I mean you's) elected the first Hawaiian to the White House....... (Poker pauses a moment for dramatic effect.... and sighs)

Yes my friends.... It was a necessary evil when we (and again, by we, I mean you's) falsely, and calculatedly accused Japan of attacking Pearl Harbor. If only Al Gore had already invented the internet, the Jap's could have gotten there message out, that they did not attack the US fleet at all.... It was the CIA and Bin Laden (as they were still friends at that point in history). But sadly, before they could get there story out, we dropped and A-Bomb or 2 on them, to shut them up.....

It's true.... i saw a documentary my friend made on this in his basement.

I read some of the "personal statements" and they revealed a great deal of ignorance. A common theme was that only in a controlled demolition does a building collapse symmetrically. That is true for low rise buildings, houses, and most office towers. Presumably that is the area of expertise (if any) of these people. In such buildings there are more than one support, and so if one support fails the building tends to topple in the direction of the failed support.

The WTC however had no such structure. The floors were hung from a superstructure, not supported from underneath by columns. As a result when they began falling from the structure they fell straight down.

Presumably only architects and engineers with experience working on super skyscrapers like the WTC would have expertise about that sort of thing and so what you have on that petition is a parade of ignorance.

I've spent thirty years gettindg stuff built and I too can sign a petition I've barely read—if that—without doing any research or investigation of the topic.

All stinky's list proves is that there is a list. This particular list is names of folks who want more info. Proves nothing about anything.

When there's more info, then there might be something to talk about. Buit talking about the list is like talking about the phone book.
