The New Look Of TERB!

Wow A, that is so cool...you should be a teacher. Cycleguy needs a little help now and then. He`s the one who started this damn thread...
Hey, cut me a little slack will ya? I started the thread because we had no forewarning that a major upgrade would take place... and was surprised by the HUGE change not only in aesthetics but also in functionality. Many functions were inadvertently disabled (search, chat etc). It has since been "massaged" for font and colours as a result of concerns raised in this thread. Furthermore- it also allowed the admin to discover things that were otherwise disabled.... All in all (naysayers and whiners notwithstanding...) a productive thread to iron out the discrepancies... no?

I even voted that I liked it in the other thread... https://terb.cc/vbulletin/showthrea...t-or-Hate-It&p=2922512&viewfull=1#post2922512

OOPS, just discovered another anomaly- we can`t view a single post now either...

Of course I don't see the big picture, but this change seems ill advised. Everyone should know by now that in the cyber world, "upgrade" doesn't mean better. I've been burned more than once by falling for the urging that I should upgrade. Seldom, if in fact ever, have I seen any benefit following an upgrade but I've seen many disasters.

When I use the Advanced Search, I came up with nothing every time, which wasn't the case before. Am I doing something wrong under the new regime?

At first it was a big shock......like going from Ubuntu to openSUSE, or Win95 to Win7....they both work but look different.

You have to adjust to its 'newness'. At first it appeared slow but it seems to be picking up speed as you use it, well at least for me.

It does seem cleaner and font size is no problem for me since using Opera browser where you just hit the + key and font size is increased by 10% with each click on the + key.....

The more I use it the better it looks. Remember this is PC stuff people where the only 'constant' is change....

The feature I really still miss is being able to click on 'Last Post By' and go directly to the last post on any thread, like it used to be before. This feature still works on most other vBulletin forums but TERB lost it with the last upgrade and this new upgrade didn't get that feature back either. That was a very useful feature.

I like it for the most part however I really dislike the new font that's used to list thread titles.
hold the control shift and plus ket and the font will increase

Agreed!
BTW, my comment was actually a backhanded way of pointing out your engaging, alert, humourous and committment to the board in advancing intelligent commentary and involvement with an bantering edge...no kidding!
