tight on the upstroke or the downstroke....
slow and thorough with lots of squeezing and twisting (of the hand)

teasing, very gentle touching of the tip and head followed by some solid strokes, alternate between the two, to a mind blowing finish. Just my preference. Also oil not spit. Spit dries out and then friction (ouch) oil provides consistent glide.

Just the shaft when pumping rigorously, the head as well when you're more gentle. Use lots of warm oil. Only a bit of bending or twisting, please.
I like it tight on both the up and downstroke, two hands are fine when you want to change it up a bit.

I've used this technique (on myself...Shut up), and yeah, it can be a real mind blower. Just go slow.

From personal experience, I've found I prefer a lighter/gliding type touch to really wind me up. If you go slowly, use a very, very light touch..Even a finger tip/nail would do. More along the lines of a tease. At moderate speeds use a firmer grip. And a little extra pressure on the down stroke. Slight twisting might be enjoyable too, but not something I've tried.

Which is odd given I'm prone to using the Death Grip on myself (But when I self serve, it's for the release and not the pleasure of it)

Now the one thing I've discovered I didn't like, was during my encounter, Britney would throw in this odd side to side stroke. Not painful, but uncomfortable enough to put a temporary damper on things.

Probably varies with the person...but firmer downstrokes feel better than upstrokes, in fact sometimes upstrokes are annoying and uncomfortable. Just a touch on the way up, and firm on the way down. Simulates the in stroke versus the out stroke in intercourse.

And the bottom of the shaft is where the sensation is the greatest for me...the little spot just under the head where it joins the shaft can be stroked very lightly to charge things up a bit for some more downstrokes.

I have noticed that when they are not cut they do not always like the firm downstroke, it pulls the foreskin down over the head and I guess for some this is really uncomfortable.
