No-- It's not proper. :)

I'm an SC guy, and I don't do the same clubs twice, and I tend to like one big crawl a month with the odd dalliance or guys night thrown in. My basic schtick is that, 'I've been here before, and I do SCs occasionally, and I'm here now." or, "I'm newish here BUT I know the drill."

Which is 'trueish' and preserves my anonymity. Mixing TERB into that would be counterproductive...

Even if that wasn't my schtick, I don't view using a TERB handle for leverage as playing fair.

The "Goober McFly From TERB" tattoo on my pecker usually gives me away. The only saving grace is if the chick isn't turning me on, all she reads is "GoRB", which I say is a Welsh word for "Thunderstick".

Could this topic come up more often?

Sometimes. Not always. Lots of reasons.

As a general rule, no. The only exception was a recent visit with KatiePie, who only booked through TERB, so she knew I was a TERB member.

I saw a popular SP recently who mentioned TERB at one point. I didn't really respond to what she said.

Anyway, a bit later, she mentioned it a second time. Again, I didn't do anything to confirm or deny awareness of the site. But as Ralph Kramden might say, I knew that she knew that I knew what she was talking about.

I tell them only in order to get their approval to post a review. Also, I had one girl who recognized my handle on the site because it basically described my affection for her and she asked me if I was that individual - to which I of course admitted to.

Only if it comes up and even then I still avoid saying my handle unless she asks. Eventually it's obvious, but it's still better not to get into too much.

Yes, I have been guilty of mentioning TERB, but all SPs I have seen have never had a problem with it. I always ask "Is it all right for you If I talk about TERB?".
Hey King, I suspect that every SP in the GTA has a picture of you hanging on their bedroom wall;) with the notation "The King".

I used to be happy to share this tidbit. I have the best intentions and would never threaten or bully what have you under any circumstances. But in recent experiences it became an extended point of conversation which I didnt expect. One young lady seemed exasperated by the fact when it came out, she said it could be taken poorly. I think in the future i will not book by PM and I will denie any knowledge of you guys. Im thinking of doing some roleplaying of my own and acting like I never did this before just to avoid the topic.

IMHO Terb is more respectful than many other boards out there and if someone posts kindly/respectfully then mentioning Terb should not be a problem. In fact if you are a well known poster that is respectful to the ladies and not putting others down and thinks before he posts then an sp should only feel more safe and aware that her safety is not in jeopardy before meeting you.

I'll be honest when I did get a Terb members handle his posts did influence wether or not I would meet and I do not mean just an oops post or anything like that or a bad day post but over all feeling of omg no way he has too few of posts and could change his handle and has not been around long and a huge WOW factor. That would be the only reason to refuse a terb member.

If a different attitude online is present that is not liked much I would still not decline if he were a long time poster in most circumstances as I would still think he will be back and hence I will still be here tomorrow too. Too me hating a board or not is irrelevant as long as I had that security feeling present and could acknowledge that in general the person would be back with the same handle later.

I would think that being a long time known poster should be a comfort to most sp's rather than walking into the hidden/unknown.

First rule of fight club.

If I book though PM or someone that I have met at a TERB party, that is a different matter.

've gotten quite an earful on the evils of TERB from dancers and a couple of indy girls. Their thoughts were that TERB guys are cheap, pushy, and want more than most customers.

Quite simply, mentioning you are TERB member with likely lead to one of two scenerios, both of which suck in the end:

1) You get less the stellar service because she doesn't want you to talk about her, or

2) You get absolutely stunning service, but it is basically given under duress, as she wants to make sure she gets a good review.

Either way, it doesn't work out well.

After meeting numerous ladies in this iindustry I concluded the following:

1. If there's no need to bring Terb up, then don't. If you treat the lady with respect and have a good time, why talk about it, there will be no added benefit.

2. If the lady brings it up, that usually means she has had a bad experience at some point and is concerned about the board, or she really wants reviews from me to increase business. This usually doesn't maximize my enjoyment with her.

Bottom line, don't talk about Terb.

Isn't it bit like going to a restrurant and informing the chief you want the meal to taste the same as the food critic's review, pasted on the window?

I never bring it up and avoid it all together. Although some of the ladies figure it out, probably more so after the review but I don't think it should be brought up before or during the session.

I seem to recall there is/was a Montreal escort and a Hamilton escort who insisted on knowing your TERB handle so they could check your posting history.
