Meguiars Gold Class. I think it comes in either paste or liquid, but I use the liquid. Easy to apply and easy to remove, either with a buffer or with elbow grease. Nice deep shine, and water beads up for more than a month. About $20 for the bottle at Canadian Tire, if I remember right.

I was a doubter of Zaino but then I used it - hooked for life.
Me too - the entire system. I use on both clear-coat and regular paint.

Used to use Mothers paste.

Out there
Personally I prefer Nu-finish, goes on very easily and lasts almost a year. I am lazy so lots of elbow grease is not my thing.

Zaino is a sealant not a wax it's a very good sealant but I prefer Menzerna FMJ best sealant I have used so far it's also used by Mercedes in the European market only though, a good over the counter wax is Meguiars NXT it's a new Synthetic Polymer type wax it comes in a liquid or a paste it well cleanse your your paint and also fill minor swirl marks this is a very good wax for someone thats lazy and doesn't want to spend a lot of money on there car but will give them good results. Now if you want the best wax out there for the money you can't beat Pinnacle Souveran it well give you a liquid and 3-dimensional appearance that imo looks better than the Zymol $1500 boutique wax. What most people fail to realize it all about paint surface preparation not so much about the products you use because as the old saying goes you can't polish a turd but you can make it look brighter if you just throw a wax or sealant on your car why half ass it first learn how to prepare your paint surface before you apply a wax or sealant it would be like you taking your car to have it painted and they shot a coat of paint on your car and never prep'ed the surface doesn't make any sence.

I use a Hand Glaze/cleaner from the Minnesota Minining & Manufacturing Company (3M) first then use Meguire's Wax after.
Best Hand Glaze on the market bar none. Doesn't leave swirl marks like Meguires or Mothers.

I'm a cheap bastard and won't buy Zaino. I use Mothers hard paste wax. It goes on sale 10% off at Canadian Tire around this time of year and you can get 50 or so coats out of that tin, so it works out to about 50 cents an application

I've had experience with Nu Finish. It's great for shining and preserving a fairly new car which already looks great, with minimm effort and a good price. I also used Blue Polly on my dad's cars back in the 80's.

However, if you want to refresh a car with a few years on it without spending big bucks on the professiona stuff, I had greeat results with Liquid Lusture. It looks like a thicker Pepto Bismol. Does a very good job on fade, swirll-marks, road-dirt and damage from tree-sap & bird shit. It does require some muscle power, especially on the first application. You repeat in 60 days, then just twice a year for maintenance.

Does anyone know where you can still order Liquid Lusture? When I lost my car, I gave my bottles to relatives and they've almost run out. I haven't seen it in stores since 2003.

Thanks

I appreciate all your suggestions .....

I used Nu Finish and it did the trick just fine. Easy application and great results.

I do have another question ... do you detail the wheels/tires? If so what do you use? :)
