I answered with what I felt was the most important reason but several apply. I like variety, like the rush, my SO doesn't do it for me amymore, too old to pick up girls in 20/30s (then again, I haven't tried except for hobbying so maybe not), like sex with no strings (since I already have strings) ...... sheesh!

I'd say the variety is numero uno as I find that even if I find a gem I grow tired of the relationship after a while and move on. There is currently an exception to this as I've been wondering when she'll stop coming up with ways to keep it fresh, hopefully never.

Being happy with my SO except for sex, hobbying keeps me from seeking another and busting up an otherwise perfectly good relationship. Thanks to all the lovely women out there!

My reasons change all the time. When I'm not with a steady girlfriend then it is because of the access to quick sex with no strings. If I am in a relationship then it is rare that I hobby. But, if my gf at the time is a bit older or has kids that have, er, loosened things up a bit, then sometimes I just want young and tight, so I stray from time to time. I'm "only" 35 so I can still attract the odd mid-20's woman, thank god, but sometimes it's too much effort, ya know.

When/if I ever marry, then my hobby days will end. Not being judgemental at all though, as I fully understand why men who have been married for several years/decades and whose wives are no longer physically fit, would want to hobby.

"To Hobby or Not to Hobby"

As stated in one way or another, there was more than 1 choice which seemed to be a close fit. I would have worded some differently, but I'm not criticizing. I can't speak for anyone else, but, I'm sure that some of us like the experience (MPA wise) of getting a good to great massage with a happy ending.
I once had the pleasure of enjoying a very good massage from this unbelievably gorgeous gal from France (Beechwood area). She told me that the happy ending was part of the massage in France. If it weren't for the fact I can't speak french I would move to France!

I would have to agree with slurp. My SO makes me happy in alot of ways but one. I know it's pretty near damn impossible to find the "perfect SO" so hobbying keeps me satisfied and there's no strings. Be careful, safe,discreet and never tell a buddy and you're set. PLUS it's a helluva lot cheaper than
leaving your SO in the long run.

Let's face, when your with your SO long enough you get an itch. Better with an SP - no strings, you can get way better looking by paying, and you don't have to put in all the emotional crap - its a very honest type of relationship which for many of us is refreshing. A good SP will also actually talk to you and a good GFE will show an interest in parts of you that your SO got bored with a long time ago.

Come on, we've all had 'the one that got away', be she a petite blond, a fierly latino or a sensous asian. It gives us a chance to take away some of those regrets and in many ways allows us to become more content.

At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
