An interesting note: 8 of the 70 busted were cab drivers on duty. Something similar happened a few years ago, large representation of cab drivers in a another bust. Now we know why the back seat is covered in plastic... ewww.

I just don't get approaching streetwalkers. Any that I've seen driving through known strolls are ones I wouldn't go near with a can of Raid. As for the guys that got caught twice, DUMB!!

Police can and will sting agencies & indy's from time to time. It is more often the case that complaints have been made or suspected other crimes, but it does happen.

Wow this refreshes my memory twenty years ago .....
I just fucked up a relationship, getting really pissed off with "regular" women. Had no experience with hobbying (well, you need some experience to make it into a hobby right?). Started doing this cruising thing around west end of Toronto. Saw a lot of SW, made some eye contact and got some flashes (yes, I also remember in winter time, they open their coats with next-to-nothing underneath .....). Most of them thin and scrawny, arms probably riddled with track marks. Seen a TS flashing cock as well (yikes!)
One day cruising in Parkdale on Queen. Turned into one of the side streets and saw this cute blonde with miniskirt on the street corner. Much better looking than the usual SW. Circled around and shes still there.
Third time round - I made eye contact and stopped. She came over, asking what I was looking for ("the usual, bj and sex"). Then she asked "how much are you going to pay?".
I replied "fifty dollars?" (I didn't even know the street rate)
She immediately strolled off and two guys came out of a parked SUV behind. They showed their badges, asked me for ID etc., and then informed me that I have broken the law for soliciting.
I was damn lucky: everything was calm, they did not shout and drag me out of my car (or even ask me to leave my car for frisking etc.), like what you see in the American cop shows. There were no handcuffs, no going to the police station for booking. They talked to me through my opened car window, with me inside my car. They handed me a court order and told me I would be summoned to the court. Then I drove off.
I got a letter with my date to appear in the court about two months later, the first (and thankfully, the only time, so far) time I had brush with the law. I had my fingerprints taken, I faced the judge.
Again thankfully, knowing I had no previous record, the judge gave me a warning and no record.
Still, the police has a set of my prints - meaning I cannot rob, rape, steal, or beat the crap out of XXX etc. in the future.
Well, not that I am that kinda scum (seriously, please believe me)
MORAL OF THE STORY
1. SWs in the Parkdale area are not top the the crop (they are much better in the more upscale areas such as Jarvis, lots of nice EE).
2. NEVER make an offer of $$ value for sex (god was I STOOOOPID!)
3. Stick to escort agencies (maybe CL is OK, but definitely no more SW).
