Winners - 2007 Most Beautiful O-Town SP

Hi folks,

We have our winners finally this year without too much drama at all. After looking over the results, I have decided to interpret the results differently to decide the winners instead of strictly relying on the actual vote count in ascending order. I think some other people have also suggested this in the nomination thread below and I believe it is a fairer interpretation of the result just as the votes have pretty much turned out this way.

Here is a screeenshot of the poll result as of midnight May 31 to avoid any further tampering as the poll is closed now. (The Terb server clock is a few minutes behind.)

Without further delay, the winners in the two categories are:

2007 Most Beautiful O-Town Local SP
1. Monqiue
2. Alexxxis
3. Aurora

2007 Most Beautiful O-Town Touring SP
1. Gabrielle Luv
2. Harmony
3. Rachelle of Kingston

Alexxxis did come close at one point in time. I actually thought Aurora would have a very good chance too. Nevertheless, congratulations to our all time O-Town favourite Monique winning this year`s top honour in the local SP category!!! The local SPs do have the location and time convenience factor on their side when compared to the touring SPs.

In the touring SP category, it is a much tighter race. In the end, our Undisputed O-Town Touring Queen Gabrielle Luv edged the honour with all her secret and not-so-secret admirers. (Actually, more from her secret admirers ... lol ... because there is only one not-so-secret admirer - ME!!!) Rachelle deserves a special mention too by winning quite a large number of votes in such short time frame with her exceptional services and unbelievably low incall donation rate. Too bad Harmony never made a return.

Gab, congratulations to you too!!! What could be a better retirement gift - all of your fans` hearts !!!

And to all the ladies, even the non-Top 3 ones, YOU are ALL beautiful. O-Town is lucky enough to have you all here pampering all of us. Thank you!!!

PS - I just hope next year`s vote won`t be polluted by too many Terb handles that were registered since March this year with 0 or low post counts just for next year`s voting ... LOL!!!

Wrap-up

Now it does not look like there are more comments so I just would like to add my final thoughts to wrap up before I started the 2007 Most Beautiful MA Nomination thread.

When I looked at the result at the closing time of the poll as shown in the screenshot link above, Aurora would not even be in top 3 which I didn't think was quite right. After looking at things further, it was very obvious that the trend was towards two categories of winners - Local and Touring so I took the liberty of adjusting things and interpreting things with some common sense to it. Maybe I should have started two polls or two categories like someone else has suggested in the nomination thread. Maybe I will do that next year but I think the results are still very fair the way they are.

I am old enough and live long enough to know that I don't know what I don't know and I would have NEVER speculated how people would have voted. One thing I do know for great certainty is that my top 3 (if based on what some called looks alone) would still not be the same 3 like someone else has suggested above.

It is an excellent quote. I really wish some of you will start to think in a "more than one dimensional" manner and accept the fact that people do judge beauty differently. I may not have agreed with the results either but I do accept the fact this is how people have voted and respect the results as they are instead of sounding like poor losers.

As to whether to allow a SP to vote or not, I think it is impossible to enforce for everyone so I just accept it and let them vote anyway.

So once again to close things off, congratulations to Monqiue again for winning the top Local SP houour and to Gabrielle again for winning the top Touring SP honour.

Let's go with two polls next year and see what happens!!!!
