I have been with rogers for internet and ultimately not had many problems....BUT since I am reducing my cable needs (got satelite) this actually will make my "cable bundle" no longer an option. My cable would go up my 15$/mo. So I am just going to get basic cable and my internet possibly somewhere else...... Here's why I need YOU!!! I am looking for plugs for other providers from you the paying subscribers!!! Please feel free to Post any referances you may have.
thanks guys:confused:

i had seen this page but hav'nt heard of most of these. the person that told me about it uses ontarioisp http://www.canadianisp.com/cgi-bin/ispsearch.cgi

If you're with Bell's satellite service, then you can get a bundle deal with the TV and Internet (and phone line) thru them. I do.

Just thought I would share a crappy experience with 3Web. I cancelled my plan, and they kept billing me for 4 months on my credit card (Even though I was signed up on a month-to-month basis). Then, it took about 3 months for them to give me back my money. No compensation for the time wasted on about 20 phone calls to get a resolution.

You have to do some research on ISPs that are not one of the big monsters. Most smaller ISPs... 3web, Primus are just resold services of other ISPs. SO yes you are getting a cheaper price but you are also making sacrifices that you arent aware of. Such as ISP security, tech support, and in most cases higher contension ratios on the lines and the upstreams to the ISPs that the small ISPs lease off of. 3web is simply Rogers... for example.
