I just received some information from a source inside the Financial Services industry. There are a lot of fake us$100.00 bills doing the rounds. Some institutions are refusing to exchange US$100 bills unless the client shows ID.

When I get them I rub them on a piece of bland paper and some of the dye should come off.. It is very faint but you can see traces of it. If I can't see traces of it I don't accept it of the bronzy tint I don't use it. There must be a lot of fake money judging by the 20 and 50 dollar tester a lot of stores are using now.
