It has taken me quite a few years, but I learned that it is pointless to argue with anyone who you know in advance will not change their minds regardless of the facts.

Anyone ever hear of agreeing (politely) to disagree? Then SHUTTING THE FUCK UP AND NOT NEEDING TO) GET THE LAST WORD IN?

OK, here's my not last word/phrase.

This whole mess could have been avoided when NASA started revising previous temperature data, at that point, any bets would null and void, end of discussion.

And what does this say about the whole subject,...they had to revise the previous data because it was what,...wrong ?

Where's he hiding?? He's never been at a loss for words.

I did not vote.
But this board consists of forums participants that are mostly Conservatives and Centrist "liberals," so movie-fan is just getting the nod from his peers.
The scientific knowledge of most of the posters on Terb is on par with the average Stormfronter on race/genetic issues.
