GAWD I hate that!!!

I hate that too dj! I can totally empathize. But, it might not be her fault. This is what happened to me about a month ago:

I had an appointment with one of my favs. Had seen her a few times before, and we clicked, and I was really looking forward to our appointment. We had each made some special arrangements for each other, which were again confirmed the day before. I arrived at the in-call hotel and text her for the room number as was the procedure for this lady. No answer! hmmm, maybe she's running behind. Try again, still no answer. WTF, I was PO'd. Waited 30 minutes, tried a few more times and gave up, went back to the office. The 30 minute trip was good to cool off. LOL

I send a polite e-mail, asking what happened, and she replies right away> "Where are you, I'm waiting at the hotel."

Huh? WTF! I answer back right away, explaining that I was there, sent 5 messages, but got no reply. She says she didn't get any messages, and said she's calling her service provider, and that she is so very sorry. Then a second message a few minutes later and she says, yes, there's a problem with her cell service and is on hold with them to fix it, and she's very VERY sorry etc. I answer, "Maybe we can reschedule for another day, and too bad, I am horny as hell!" LOL

She answered right back, "I'm horny as hell too, and was really looking forward to seeing you"

OK, maybe that was a line, but she's always been up front with me... so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I answer: "I can be there in 30 minutes if you are still available." And she answers back, "Oh please, can you? I SO need some one to comfort and snuggle me, I'm having a real bad day- my next appointment just canceled on me on short notice. I'm available all afternoon now!"

So I get the room number, jump in the car and head back to see her. I'm glad I did, it was likely one of the best appointments I've ever had! (Oh and BTW, she was STILL on hold with her cell provider, when I arrived! But she promptly blew them off within a minute of my arrival.)

Things happen! Its a fact. How you deal with them can make or break a situation, and it might not be her fault.

Happen to me a few times. Even worse now because gas so expensive and I own a big ass truck.

It certainly does happen on both sides, both guys and gals, and it really does suck.

I do hope that there was a reasonable explanation dj, best of luck next time.

Life happens - on both sides. If she is a Good Girl, she will offer you an appropriate explaination or compensation. If not, move on.

Curious to know why you would only pm the name - unless she has a NRP. Aren't we all subject to criticism on this board? For example, I find it annoying when people suggest that nobody competes with my opinion here because they don't want to be blocked from getting in my pants or getting a 'good deal' in the future. Is that possibly why you won't post the name? That kind of defeats the purpose of the board. No big deal either way. Just curious.

Ya had that happen a time or two. Very annoying. If something comes up where I can't make it I always call the lady a head of time.

Fair enough. That kind of answers my question.

Yup, your call. I disagree with it, but hey, I won't argue with a Sens fan no how.
They still think they'll win the cup this year.
