He may be dead, but he may have succeeded in destroying the US. The wars he triggered have resulted in over 4 trillion spent and the current fiscal and economic crisis.
Why all of a sudden feel sorry for your perennial basher, the United States of America?

BTW, wanna buy some gold and silver? I hear the two are in tight supply since there are rumors to have sudden spike from Pakistan. No?

You know nothing of the details , yet you can not resist the urge to make political hay by slagging one side and giving credit to the party you support.
You already are giving credit where credit may not be deserved.

Do you not understand how petty and bias this makes you appear?
Do not understand how this underminds your credibility?

I guess thats not really a problem for you as you have no credibility to begin with.
Seems what Obama just reports supported my contentions and not yours Johnny boi. Now go clean that brown spot of your nose and answer your boss' call. He beckons for your service again....:eyebrows:

It's only a matter of time before Donald Trump jumps into the spotlight and wants to see the death certificate before he believes bin laden is dead.
The Donald is probably assembling a team of investigators for that purpose right now....:D

Funny you haven't started your usual stunt, namely accusing those "Judas" to sell out for 30 pieces of silver.

No thanks.. momentum trading is fine if you have an inside track.. people buying now are too late IMHO. The big boys will be exiting soon. Buying any assets when the Fed is about to end QE2 is playing with fire. You may be more foolish or smarter then me, but frankly I don't believe anyone knows what will happen when you cut off 3B/day in liquidity.

Obama wisely gave credit to the intelligence agencies, which were not changed when he came in.
Obama didn't even bring in a new Defense secretary.
Only a demented idiot would claim that this happened because of Obama instead of Bush.

I think it wouldn't matter who was President, any American president was going to try and hunt him down. Although perhaps Obama made it more of a priority.

Sounds like you feel depressed another contender to hurt the "Great Satan" is eliminated by the Americans. No?
I don't think it matters either way. The forever war continues.

STATEMENT BY PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH
by George W. Bush on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 11:55pm
May 1, 2011

Earlier this evening, President Obama called to inform me that American forces killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of the al Qaeda network that attacked America on September 11, 2001. I congratulated him and the men and women of our military and intelligence communities who devoted their lives to this mission. They have our everlasting gratitude. This momentous achievement marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done.

In the last days of Clinton's presidency it's been said he was obsessed with "getting" Bin Laden and he told W. that Osama should be his #1 priority when he came into office. To say Bush Jr. did not act with enough urgency pre 9/11 would be an understatement.

Doesn't alter the FACT that Obama was the one who bagged this bogeyman and not inept Dubya....

Indeed!
When Dubya WAS GIVEN the CIA report on OBL, Dubya just tossed it aside and went on Vacation instead! For Dubya, his many Vacations held more urgency than getting OBL....

No need to explain that much when all you need to do is to say I am scared.

The phone call was a given. Anyone who thought Obama wouldn't have informed Bush prior to this news being leaked/announced has their head too far up their partisan ass whether it be left or right leaning.
