The SP scene in NYC is horrible (and the mp scene non-existent), but look at Belle de Jour a local agency with good GFE service (and honest descriptions of those services) and hot girls. Also check out the New York City Discussion Board on the Erotic Review to see who is visiting when you're there. Other than these suggestions, the local talent is pretty dismal.petitelover said:

I used to live in NYC. They have a newspaper called the Village Voice which is very similiar to the NOW magazine. There are a lot of incall services in Manhattan in the upper east or upper west side. The service is okay. Tipping is very big in NYC...almost expected. There is a lot of screening that goes on with the incall agencies. They are afraid of LE.
I have had bad experiences with outcall services so beware. Once I picked an agency out of the yellow pages and the escort came and she took the money and went to give it to the driver. Well she never came back. The agency did not care. There are a lot of scams down there. The cost is $$$$ and to tell you the truth you are better off spending the money here. The girls are much better here and much prettier. I found the women down there overweight and generally not that attractive

QT, if you really lived in NYC (and I don't doubt that you did) then I'm shocked at your advice. I can't imagine worse sources for reliable escorts than the Village Voice and the Yellow Pages!!

There are some stunning top-notch girls that are there but to see them you need tons of cash and have contacts. There is so much money in NYC that prices are nuts and the rich locals like to keep the girls to themselves and their inner network of associates. Well said, Don. I assumed that petitelover wasn't interested in that market, and, as you said, it's difficult to crack in any case.
Thanks for everyone's comments. I might try Madmax's suggestion of Flashdancers on the earlier side and see what happens. Once you have experienced NF SC's it is hard to compete but I will approach with an open mind and give an update post when I return. Thanks again.
If you don't get the kind of experience you're looking for at FD then walk the few blocks or take a cab over to Private Eyes. From what I remember, I think Private Eyes is just a high class strip joint in Manhattan....and the strip joints aren't what they are here. You will be in for a shock when you see the prices for what you get...and what you get is nothing. I love New York but the hobbying is ridiculosly expensive there because the puritanical right wants prostitution stamped out and as such it drives everything underground and makes it more expensive. If I were you I would fly into Montreal and spend my money there. Much better value for the money and you don't get the attitude. Thats where the Americans head to! Thanks for the info - I don't know what I want to spend but certainly not $1,200 an hour with a 2 hour minimum as Camila requested in my previous post. Greetings - As promissed I have returned from NYC with an update and with a new appreciation for Toronto and NF.
I went to Flashdancers which is located around 53rd or so and Broadway. I walked down the stairs and I was greeted with a $20.00 cover charge ($10 before 8:00pm) and then was escorted over to the coat room where I had to hand my coat over along with $3.00 plus tip. After that, I was seated and within seconds someone was over to take my order for a beer and collect $12.00 plus tip - yes that is for 1 beer! Keep in mind this is all American money. The facility was nice and reminded me of a higher end Sundowner in NF. The women were VERY attractive but also VERY VERY aggresive in asking for dances. I actually got tired of saying no especially when the same women come up to you several times a night. The dances are $20 each with very limited mileage. It is an open area with chairs and tables in front and as I sampled some dances it was weird having people watch me while a dancer gave me a lap. If you want to get intimate, there is the "Blue Room" where you are by yourslelf with a dancer - the cost - only $1,500 for 2 hours. WTF!!! I met a girl from Mississauga named Tira - she said she used to work at Sundowner in NF but says she makes more than twice what she made there. Based upon what I saw I wouldn't doubt it!
I also went to Private Eyes - DEAD and dreary so I did not even go in. I was pressed for time so I didn't sample any SP's or go to any MP's. Based upon posters I don't think I missed anything.

Yeah, I should have forewarned you about the costs. Sorry you didn't get good mileage for the lap dances. I have always received better mileage in the NYC clubs than in any of the Toronto downtown clubs. Hope you still managed to have a good time.
Yes, I had a great time - thanks for asking. They are open until 4:00am and my buddy and I stayed until around 3:30am. As far as mileage, nothing compares to the clubs in NF but based on current posts I think that is changing rapidly.
