Viking Resort -- City T.V. special

I have been reading about the Viking Escort Retreat for some time now, looked at their website and was seriously thinking of going -- until I saw a 1hr. special on it on City T.V. tonight. Boy, did I get depressed! Did anyone see it? My perception was that there were a few girls available, not particularily attractive at all, not professionals ( like I had assumed they would be ) who were lousy actresses. Worse yet, they guys seemed totally desperate, crying for some kind of attention and acceptance they really were not getting. Ok, sure, they got laid, had a few manange-a-trois sessions and partied. But fuck, holly cow, Batman!!!! You don't have to spend in excess of $1000 per diem to get that kind of crap. I can not speak for anyone who might have seen this but I would have been bored out of my fucking mind after the first night; gawd knows if I would be able to last three days! I mean the atmosphere with the girls made me visualize running off a cliff! Give me a 2hr sesion with a good sp from Toronto or Montreal anyday of the week.

So, can someone explain to me what I missed? Anyone go to this place and experience anything different than what was shown on T.V.. Was the producer of this affair a female who tried to diminish the concept?

The program actually highlighted two resorts, the Viking Resort (5 star) in Dominican Republic and a 2 star resort in Costa Rica. The men at the Viking resort seemed to appear as desperate rich Americans. For instance, one of the clients was there with the daughter of his nanny. The girls were reasonably attractive Hungarians and Ukrainians, seemed to be there willingly and able to appreciate the game they were playing. The whole set-up seemed to be a little sleazy though.

The Costa Rican resort seemed to be more exploitive of the women. The owner and guests referred to the women as 'chicas' that they were helping to improve their lot in life with their American money. One of the guests tended to reinforce this stereotyping of the Latino women by saying that he could offer any women he saw on the street money for sex, or if she was unattractive, she could do his laundry. The surprising thing about this resort was that it had a Best Western franchise.

I don't think the producer of this program was trying to diminish the concept of sex vacations. The owners, clients and sex workers demonstrated in their own words and actions what an exploitive and corrupting concept this is.

Yes gamesman, I left the Costa Rica thing out. It was just too much and I was only interested in the Viking experience. The Costa Rica girls were looking for the American Passport, no more or less, and, according to one, thought the job was very bad. And the point there was, if you are desperate enough you will do anything. BORING.

My point is -- are there any guys out there who thought the Viking experience was something they would like? Was it not just as desperate, as with the Costa Rica experience, only for the men, here? The women were fine taking them to the cleaners. Were the men not the most pathetic creatures you have seen in a long while? My gawd, they may have some money but, for Christ sakes, get some self-esteem!!!!!

And, what about the Jackass at the Costa Rica Resort who thought , because there were collateral activities, he was not running a Brothel????????????

I didn't see the TV report, but what exactly is desperate about these folks at the Viking? Their demeanor, or just the fact that they paid $1000 U.S. a night for a room, some golf, and time with a woman?

Thought you might find this link of value and perhaps make contact with eatapus_rex to discuss your thoughths with someone who claims to have been there.

To be clear, I am taking the posters word on thier travels and have no reason to doubt their ability to provide a clear indication of their first hand experience.

I think the place in the D.R. has changed hands a couple of times .
I partook in a trip to the original "Viking 69 " in 98 or 99 which was operating out of St.Maarten/Neth. Antilles. You were met at the landing strip, taken to a villa on the beach to choose your companion for the next 3 days at a cocktail party. You spent the first night on shore , next morning you embarked on a catamaran ( 3 staterooms in all ) on a 3 day/ 2 night island hopping trip, involving snorkeling, deepsea fishing, sunbathing, and a lot of screwing either your original girl or a swapped one- just great wild fun- cost me abt US 10 k for me and my customer . The girls were all georgeous EE , no English spoken but some German . Saw one of the girls in a Frankfurt FKK last year again by chance : she told me the Swiss guys who used to own it sold out, the new guys brought in South American girls, fired the cat captain, went to a solely land-based operation and ultimately moved to another island...
