Well I have always enjoyed fishing, but my job does not allow me to take a lot of time off to go fishing, as it can get addictive and costly.
So I rely on a lot of friends to tell me about their adventures. From these stories, myself and others go to the same fishing holes and see how true the stories are.
Mind you, once and while I, like many others, will try some place that only a few have tried before. Some times we have a great time….and other times….well not so great.
But that is the risk we take for our fellow fishermen.
So I recently decided to try new fishing resort as there is not much found out there about this resort. So I packed up my gear and headed off to Lake Coco. You can find Lake Coco on the EC map.
Easy enough to find the place with plenty of place to discreetly park your car and get to the resort. Once there the local tour guide who greets you is more than accommodating and friendly.
I noticed that she has been working hard keeping the resort in top shape as she has lost a fair bit of weight compared to the pictures you find of her at the resort.
With my reservation confirmed I headed for the shower for a quick rinse before heading out for adventure.
The facilities at this resort are simple and comfortable. Clean and tidy with toiletries available. There is an AC unit in the main room and it is recommended to leave it turned on as the room does heat up quickly with any activity in the room.
After the shower my guide takes me on a very safe tour of the services offered at the resort.
The events that transpired on my tour were very interesting. I was amazed at the way the guide made her self comfortable on our tour by the way she could contort herself. She would bend herself in two just to make sure I had a good time on my tour.
I found that a lot of the tour was spent in very tight places where the fishing was superb, much to my enjoyment. In fact if you are not holding on when going in and out of these tight places you could find yourself popping out.
I will comment on the way she helped me handle my rod so I would not tire myself out to early. I was nearly exhausted towards the end of our tour that she had to take my rod herself and bring in the big fish by hand.
Over all I would say a good time spent with a wonderfully friendly tour guide.
Conversation 4/5
Atmosphere 4/5
Cleanliness 4/5
Tour guide 4/5 (looks)
Did not ask about dinning…too busy with other things
A very safe tour guide at all times
No island to visit that I know of
Tour guide can really draw in your attention with her oral skills as well as her flexability
Service was not rushed at all
Repeat visit……mmmmm………possibly.
