Did John Kerry cross the line?

Actively engaging and supporting Iran over the USA to the point of offering guidance and advice on how to circumvent US policy.

I remember people discussing supposed violations of the Logan act by Trump team.

But this is imo a clear violation by a former SOS.

Of course he crossed the line. Fortunately for him, he's a Democrat, so no media freak-out.

Got facts and a source for them?

Otherwise, how is Kerry doing anything that Donny's tax lawyers don't do every day of the year? Outlining exactly what the black letter prohibits, and how to dance on the permitted side of the line so precisely you never ever quite touch it.

Uh, no. Pretty pragmatic advice, Trump won't be POTUS forever. I just pray he's right about that...

Roflmfao!!! Just say- I hate Trump. No reason to twist yourself and pretend you have a point. Reminds me of the time when Obama told Medvedev- tell Vlad I'll have more flexibility after the election. That's collusion on an open mic, but not a peep from the Democrat loving media. Kerry saying virtually the same thing is not a problem, apparently. If he was a Republican, you'd be here and now crucifying the man.

Go to YouTube. Pompeio was quite clear in warning him. And stating what he did.

Same thing as Stephen Harper’s meeting with Trump.
Depends on what was discussed. Kerry discussed how to get around Us policy, undermining the administration.

Harper did not attempt to undermine sanctions.

....and Iran is the enemy, only Libtards love them...like Trudeau that as soon "as he moved in" wanted to be friends with these Islamofascist dictators, that have a world record of executing children.

The Logan Act as amended

18 U.S.C. § 953

"Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects."

My emphasis.

Kind of like what Ronald Reagan did with the Iranians during the election of 1980 to make sure that the hostages were not released until after the election.

Or what Richard Nixon did during the election in 1968 when he secretly worked to kill the peace talks between the Johnson Administration and the Vietnamese.

Harpo discussed how to deal with Trudeau govt- no different than Kerry.

Lock him up!

Go to YouTube. ....
Quite a reliable source of info.

There is a significant lack of actual information about the meetings other than he met with people from a hostile power (kind of like meeting with Russian officials). I would also suggest that if the Trump administration had any evidence Kerry broke the law he'd have been locked up.

When I said YouTube, it wasn't for punditry. It was for repeats of the actual news conference the SoS gave to MSM. And it in fact came as a result of questions from the media.

Logan act hadn't been enforced. Too vague really. But Kerry is getting really close here.

Link? My understanding is he visited as a lobbyist on a private matter.

Is that like your claims about Hillary's criminality?

As far as I can tell, there is no evidence Kerry did wrong and considering the frequency of contacts the current admin had with hostile foreign powers before the Trump took power....

Maybe he’s a Trump plant, he’s clueless as hell (he had a lower GPA than W did).
