I eat a lot of raw vegetables broccoli, asparagus, kale, green pepper, and okra on a regular basis.
Raw okra, yuck. Actually I've read some articles which claim raw vegetables can be worse for you than cooked. I prefer to quick steam my veggies. Easier to digest too.

I love asparagus but wouldn't like it raw. I eat it steamed with a little butter. Also love to eat bell peppers raw - I'll eat yellow or red peppers like I'm eating an apple. lol

They say carrots are actually better for you when they are cooked because it helps to release the nutrients. I know tomatoes are a fruit but the same is true. The lycopene is released when cooked so it's more nutritious to eat tomato sauce than just raw tomatoes.

Not true about raw vegetables being worse than cooked.
For example Kale if eaten raw has almost all nutritional values except vitamin A, K are significantly higher than if cooked or quickly steamed. Raw is almost always better than steamed or cooked.

I try to buy my food as organic as possible.

I mean i'll read ingredients and try to buy produce with as little pesticide use as possible and I get my meat from a company that sells free range meat, chicken and fish. The way farming was over 100 years ago. Not farmed for mass consumption.

Its estimated that over 90% of most of our food contains some form of GMO and pesticides but if you look carefully you can at least reduce your intake of these chemicals.

I watched a video on Lucky Charms and Cheerios. The ingredients listed had TSP as one of them. If you look up T.S.P. you'll find it makes a great degreaser and cleaner. Why would that be in healthy cereal?

I try to eat healthier and have had a little bit of success (eg: cutting back on unnecessary sugars, avoiding snacks like chips. Eating more veggies.) But I'm weak when it comes to food and cravings. I'm on Lipitor and I consider it a lifestyle drug.... LOL! I try to exercise more which is my offset for unhealthy choices.

Want to know my secret? I eat fruits first thing in the morning a half hour before I eat anything else. What does this do? It cleanses your digestive system of anything left over from the day before. It clears any blockages and toxins and helps your intestines better absorb nutrients into the body.

My second secret is to drink a kale, pineapple and chlorella smoothie everyday if I can. It’s my secret to a flat tummy and clear smooth skin.

Other things I like to eat to stay healthy:

- Avocados
- Spinach
- Kale
- Papaya
- Dragon Fruit
- Eggs
- A little bit of dark chocolate (not too much)
- Sweet Potatoes
- Beets
- Quinoa
- 1 tbsn apple cider vinegar per 1 cup water
- chia seeds
- flax seeds
- salmon

You’re welcome :D

A lot of good suggestions for healthy eating. Basically, anything that's not processed should be eaten on a consistent basis. Processed foods to be eaten as a treat. One thing I can say is that since I've changed my diet and started eating more healthy fare, my sexual stamina has definitely improved for the better.

Agreed! So has mine! I last longer in the gym and in bed! In general I have so much more energy.

Lots of great suggestions. I think half the battle is having the presence of mind to have the healthy stuff on hand. I used to snack on chips when I got home from work because they were handy - I don't even really like chips that much. I started making sure i had better options available that were easy to quickly prep for a snack like cucumbers, celery, bell peppers, jalapenos, broccoli, and some fruit. I like that stuff better than junk food any way so it's not a hard transition. I also do a little exercise at home. I've lost ~12 pounds in the last month or so. Actually I lost a couple extra pounds just the other day, must have been an intensive workout I had LOL.

not just what you eat but how much you're eating. If you're fat it's because you're eating too much.
