Once I had death wish I did not want to go back to normal coffee. One of the best I have ever tried but its a little pricy.

What's so special about it? It has twice the caffeine but so what? You can just drink two cups of regular coffee and get the same effect.

Its really smooth and has a great balanced taste. I don’t really notice it being that much different in terms of strength and caffeine . It just tastes really good.

Check out their ratings and reviews on amazon...it’s way better then I could being to explain however I find most of those reviews are accurate although some complained about the taste and others like it. Their overall rating is really good. ..even when I let friends try it and other family members they always make a comment on the coffee that it tastes really good especially when I don’t say anything but just make them a cup of coffee.

Love them. I think the best coffee on retail so far is the Kicking Horse brand. They got bought by Lavazza two years ago or so, but still retain their branding.

Still experimenting and trying new things, but I agree with the OP that French Press is the way to go. It's not that difficult to clean and doesn't add anything to the garbage apart from the leftover grind which is organic compost.

I tried several beans from amazon but nothing really sticks yet. Still go back to Kicking Horse in general. For any Kicking Horse fans, would love to hear your opinion on what else is worth trying.

I really love coffee . To me MacDonalds has good coffee . Better than any Tims . Don't like a dark roast coffee . Just too strong for me . I've heard of Kicking Horse but I think their coffee might be too strong for me .

A pot of French Press with Kicking Horse medium or dark beans makes me happy in the morning.

They have some light roast blends as well. I haven't tried them so I can't give you an opinion.

I like kicking horse a lot and usually alternate with PC Organics (green package) medium roast. I get death wish a few times a years as a treat and is my favourite. For espresso illy is my preferred brand.

a ridiculous bargain and great, smooth, balanced, no bitterness, coffee
santo domingo

- it's the coffee in dominican republic

- for years could only get it when i or a friend went there - recently available in canada - but didnt sell instantly fast enough for metro sobeys loblaws etc i guess - so dont see on shelves anymore

- but available from Real Canadian Superstore - online order / for pickup / or at stores - stupid cheap prices - $5.94 (sometimes $7.00) but thats for a full pound 454g- vs tim hortons is more $ for only 300g (1/3rd less coffee)- as is mcdonalds for only 340g and lavazza for 340g

- i have 40lbs in basement just in case - yes it is excellent coffee!

I went and bought that coffee today . It tastes really good . The good part is that it was on special so I went back and bought 10lbs . 5lbs of the ground coffee and 5lbs of the bean coffee . I have a real coffee grinder that actually grinds the coffee . None of this blade thingy things that aren't made for coffee beans . Thanks

My favorite coffee is Lavazza Gold Selection, this is one of the best Arabica blends. It has a bright aroma and a light creamy-milky taste, consisting of a mixture of Robusta and Arabica. This coffee is considered the reference Italian medium-roasted coffee with a strong, bitter taste. I like to make coffee in a geyser coffee maker, and then sitting on the balcony drinking coffee and smoking delicious vap instead of a cigarette, this process allows me to relax https://thc-vape-juice.com/the-pitfall-of-thc-vape-juice/.

Remember folks.

If you travel to Italy don't ask for an espresso. Depending on the barista, you may not get service. Always ask for a cafe, you'll get your drink every time.

When I'm not at the local bakery, I make my cafe with a Moka pot. Some dark roasts are too sweet for the job, Sumatran is my favorite. For coffee, I'll buy Kenyan AA. I prefer to grind the beans myself, better result, coffee grinders are dirt cheap.

So fucking true...people around that part of the world are very sensitive but well worth it because of the quality, it becomes personal and is like art.

Its even worse if you go to a real gelato place and ask for ice cream...think of the soup nazi what will happen to you ...lol or try eating real pizza with your hands in Italy lol

They often get mistaken for being rude and arrogant however I think quite the opposite that its their livelihood, their passion, their hobby and a representation of their culture. If we can’t put in the effort to learn and understand it we should not be privy to enjoy the finest experience they can offer us.

This is why each time I go to a really fine and expensive steak restaurant I always say chefs preference when they ask how you like your steak done. The fancy places who take pride in their creation understand what I am saying but many wanna be steak restaurants don’t and look at me confused.

There is a tradition of "alms for the poor" in Napoli. Meaning you buy two cafes, you drink one and put the plate on top of the cup with the other. Someone less fortunate than yourself will get that drink. If you do that, you'll be treated like a Commendatore (captain) the next time you show up.

Naples, I hate that name.
