Would go in the past to spend time with people I lost too soon.

"Would you rather travel to the past or the future" is an interesting, fun question. Amanda immediately took it to another place that makes me feel kinda shallow, haha.
Initially I'd be pretty torn. I like 60's culture, would be fun to experience. And going centuries back could be interesting. Then again, I think we're on the brink of some pretty incredible technological breakthroughs and I want to see where we're going. But suddenly reminded that I would just like to hang out with my dad some more.

Is it just time travel? You don’t go back into YOUR past self - then probably future.

If it is going back into your own past - I may do that then. I don’t need to go back into the past for anything other than changing my own life. The rest is in the history books. So I would go forward most likely.

Well, the problems with cloning might be corrected in the future.....or not......that is why it is a gamble.....

My clone can also warn us in the past about our upcoming future....so there is an advantage with my solution.....

Your original question was an either-or. By sending my clone into the past, the choice can be both.....assuming that time travel into the past will be possible in the future.....
