First, nobody believes that all GOPers are white supremacists. What we will say is that most white supremacists are GOPers. See the difference? None vote Democrat. I think that's a fairly safe bet to make...
It is possible GOP people believe that.
Remember the whole "deplorables" thing.
Clinton specifically said that all people voting for Trump weren't deplorable racists, and the GOP said "Oh yeah! We're ALL DEPLORABLES!" and marketed it on t-shirts.

There is nothing stopping Donald or anyone in his family from donating to charity. They just cannot run their own. So, if they were really philanthropic, nothing would stop them. So, i'm not going to cry over the money these charities "could" have received from the Trump Foundation.
Skoob is very committed to the theory that "No charities get money if Trump can't wet his beak".
Look, if Trump uses the money donated to charity as his personal slush fund, that's fine because at least the charities get some money sometimes - especially when at the event someone donates to them directly instead of through Trump.

Hilarious. You think Putin waited? Or were there other events that happened in Europe and elsewhere that sparked the invasion. It sure wasn't because Trump was no longer in power. We can hear what he's saying, he'd force Ukraine to sue for peace and lose territory. That's what Russia wants right now, because they cannot achieve total victory. But, they'll wait until Trump-Vance sells Ukraine out and allow it to roll over them. It will be sad. It will be horrific. It will be the realization of Trump's foreign policy, which is defer to Putin...
Actually, there is good reason to believe it was because Trump was no longer in power.
You can't forget how much the exposure of Russia's influence on Trump crimped any plans Putin may have had.
A second Trump term would have lessened that, but him losing meant that Putin could no longer rely on Trump eventually handing him Ukraine.
With that avenue closed, a move to a more military approach makes more sense.

As you said, many factors were in play.
Trump was one of them.
