GMail is good, except for the fact you cant move emails into different folders like other email programs...instead you use filters to find them...

With Hotmail, I'd send an email to another hotmail account and it would not show up until 1 or 2 days later which was pointless in some cases. Screw the whole hotmail system. My backup is always going to be Yahoo after GMail while I am in the UK.

You can apply labels, which I find better. There will be a list of your labels on the bottom left of your screen and all you need do is click on the particular label to get your email.

The good thing about this is that you can apply as many labels as you wish to a particular email. It's like moving the same email to different folders on hotmail.

The problem I have with GMail is that it doesn't have anything similar to MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger, both of which alert me immediately when I have a new message.
