Who knows anybody who contracted Covid-19?

I know 6.

4 are health care workers, all under 50. One was hospitalized for several days and is still recovering 2 months later. One was fairly sick but not hospitalized and lost about 15 lb. The other two managed fairly well.

Two are teens. One was fairly sick for a day or two and is mostly well but still can't exercise for long. The other was asymptomatic.

Except for all those that it does harm.

The one teen I know was a competitive athlete with no risk factors who got covid in March. 4 months later and the kid can't run for more than 5 minutes and has worries that his university sports career will be ruined.

Son’s father-in-law died in NJ and his neice’s husband was in ICU for 2 weeks in NY. Grandson in Michigan just recovered from a mild case. Common thread, all in the US of A!

I'm not trying to be controversial, it's an honest question. I for one do not know of anyone who got infected nor any of my friends or associates, that I spoke to, know or heard of anyone either.

I'm just wondering what you guys know or heard about that.

My friend back in Quebec City just got a positive result. He went out in a bar. While he is feeling okay (he is 33yrs old), he saw about 5 of my other friends. Hopefully everybody is safe but I will keep avoiding groceries, malls, restaurants and bars for a while even if I am in Ontario until everything is under control.

I know 2 that ended up in hospital but are out, 3 who got it like a bad flu but now months later are still feeling effects, and 1 who died.

My Brother, his wife and daughter. Thankfully no permanent damage.

One. A co-worker's father-in-law, mid 80's staying in a LTC home in North York.

One casual friend that died from it. She wasn't fat but I was told later she had diabetes.

I am glad to say that I know of no one.

I need to amend that. My friend's 95 year old mother died from it back in April. No suffering, though, as she was asymptomatic.

Starting to get cases at my workplace. 15 plus cases and unfortunately one death.

My balls got infected with COVID.

Didn't feel a thing.
