I realize he needs to keep his eye candy healthy,,, also wonder if it was a one shot vaccine, if not and they still need the second shot that might prove to be a challenge,, especially if sitting in a cell somewhere.

I don’t get why a place with a 100 people and no outbreak is even getting a vaccine at this time. Wouldn’t another 100 nurses, doctors or LTC residence use them.
Part of the logic:
From a British Columbia article, but makes sense across the country....

The first vaccines will be administered in 10 rural and remote First Nations communities - mostly in northern BC. These communities have little access to regional health care services if someone were to become seriously ill. They are also considered a high-risk environment if any members become infected with the COVID-19 virus. The 10 communities were selected because – in addition to being remote – they have 24/7 primary care available throughout the holidays that will allow staff to prepare for the immunization program. They also have nursing staff who are qualified immunizers as well as existing infrastructure to accept and distribute the vaccines and meet the necessary storage requirements.

Glad the couple was busted though.
Indigenous Canadians have the highest covid-19 infected rate in Canada at 8% despite having the population at 5% in Canada. So they are high risk group of people with no or very little access to healthcare facilities in their remote communities.

In contrast, if you are sick here in the GTA, you simply call / select from your cellphone's app for UBER / Lyft / Taxi to drive you to the nearest hospital. They don't have any hospital and health facility in their community.

I get they don’t have access. What I don’t get is why a place that has no cases at all is getting vaccines. That is just my opinion. No outbreak, then give to a place that does first. Like maybe where a First Nations outbreak has happened or has a larger population so vaccine is more affective. 100 people in total could go to a place that would be benefit from 100 more doses because their community has more people.

I take care of an elderly father. But a nurse takes care of more elderly people. I think the nurse is right to get theirs before mine.

Again; just my opinion. I don’t think they needed it more then others at this time.

It depends on how sensitized you are to certain social-political issues, there is no right answer, of course, but people from both sides of the argument will do their damndest to convince you otherwise.

Some European countries fine on a sliding scale based on income. Maybe enough to buy the community a new fire engine and a bank of computers. Just saying....

When an outbreak happens there, it takes away resources from all the other hospitals in the area to either get those ill out, or take medical resources there. It is a net gain if they are vaccinated.

in a small isolated northern communities like that, the virus can come in with people (who have the virus & may not know it) who travel in for a quick trip (like these folks did by flying up for a shot)) or back when a local needs to fly out for medical treatment down south. There has been many stories on how the virus got up north with local members flying in & out to large centers for medical treatment, catching the virus down there & not knowingly bringing it back. In small communities, the virus spreads quickly as they have many members of a family living together in 1 small house. Kinda like what happened in Barrie at the long term care. Started with 1 case & within1 week over 100 cases.
