volume on Blackberry 7290?

Hello techies!

I've just acquired one of these puppies, & I've noticed I can't really 'pump up the volume.' I've set it on HIGH but even so, the ringing is not audible enuff for my tastes. e.g. I couldn't hear it from the next room.

Could there be a software fix for this?!

Anybody else had this problem?

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I have the same problem sometimes and have the newest software from Rogers too.
