For those of you asking how my Son is doing here is the update.
He is doing much better now, still a long road ahead of him but he is stable. Even found himself a part time job across the road from my apartment.
The Doctors are calling him a medical mystery still, as well as cholesterol deposits in his kidney they have also found some kind of crystals. No idea what they are but the samples have been sent to a specialist in the USA for analysis.
He still has problems with swelling so they have doubled his dose of diaretic pills. ugh he gets tired quickly and feels 'unwell' from time to time but considering the alternative he is doing remarkably well.
I have virtually moved out of my apartment for the time being, two grown kids and four children make it impossible to work from home so I am staying at a Hotel now. Looking for a room to rent though, one that will not mind the occasional gentleman visitor lol. This $100 a night is killing me....yikes. One of the downfalls of this 'job' is that there is no verifiable income so getting another apartment is not possible.
But, my kids are well and safe so I am a happy Mom/GrandMom.
