For the 185 LB title at Abu Dhabi. Dubai .

I'm going to take Costa here for the upset by KO. He's the bigger man with more power. I think he will catch him at some point.

Although Adesanya is supremely skilled on the feet and is extremely effective at creating angles and being deceptive. If it goes the distance I expect Israel to take this.

Let's see.

I called it the same as you, and was so deflated with how poorly Costa fought.
After round one, and the onslaught of leg kicks, Paulo needed to show far more urgency to get the fight to the ground.
Not keep going back to the middle of the octagon, and let Israel go right back to work.

The co-main did not disappoint though, amazing fight that one was.
Costa went on twitter and said something happened before the fight that caused him to perform poorly. He wouldn't say what though. Only that he wanted his rematch.

The thing that went wrong was that he got outclassed by a superior fighter..........

As for the co main. I thought Reyes just blew it. Blachowicz just kept throwing and by the time Reyes started firing back he got tagged. Blachowicz started off what 2-4 in the UFC. He fought like the more composed veteran that he was. I like the call out of Jon Jones as well.

If you look at the competition each guy faced it wasn't even close. The only really good fighter he fought was Romero and I think he lost that fight. He was out struck and was he lost takedowns 1-0. He's not in the same league. I thought Israel would beat him just not that easily.

I agree the Yoel Romero right was a robbery.

Israel fought Romero super cautiously though.

Wouldn't you? The guy is huge for that weight class plus he's a great grappler.
Yeah, but I'd like too see Israel go for the stoppage like he did with Costa. I hope there's a rematch, I don't wanna see him fight Cannonier.

I really don't want to see them fight again. It wasn't that great of a fight. If Romero is more aggressive then I think it could be a good fight.
