Trump announced he would do it in 24 hours 😅

Time and cost
Seriously a plan to do such deportation would take around 10 years. At a cost of around 10 billions per year.

Staff
Can you imagine hiring at least 2000 extra police to locate and arrest them. The jurist and lawyers. And the army.

The army?
Do you think about 4 millions of Haïtiens, Honduriens, Venezuelien… will accept to be sent back to their country without a little fight? They are probably buying guns right now.

Transport
You cannot just dump them in mexico. You need to bring them.

At most trump will deport 100k, a bit like the 500 foot of wall he built in 2016.

Even Trump merely talking about it is going to push a bunch of those people to cross to Canada. That’ll be a welcome addition

You weren't complaining when they spent billions busing them all across America, giving them free shelter, free food and free money.
That was peanuts. A few thousands pf them.

And by the way i never wrote i was against the idea of his massive deportation. I just find funny that people think it will be easy. It will be a nightmare.

Also for the economy 30 in cali and 50% in new work picking veggies and fruits are these people.

He could take the money for Ukraine and Israel and spend it here instead. Something about "America First" ...

The Canadian Govt should house them in Brampton. They'll be begging to go back to their countries of origin in less then a week

Made a mistake in my numbers. Cost would be approximately be 100 billion per year, for 10 years.

So that's $1 trillion. Still less than the cost of the Iraq and Afgan wars. And who did those benefit? Not the American people.

You don't understand. Those are asylum claimants who have the legal right to remain in America until they have an asylum hearing. They can't be deported unless Trump resiles from the UNCHR, a 1950's statute that Eisenhower brought into effect.

Simple "illegals" are underground. No one is bussing them anywhere. They live across America. They are undocumented. And they work low wage jobs legals wouldn't touch.

So Jalimon is correct. One would have to double or triple the # of immigration cops and spend a couple of decades hunting the illegals down and turfing them.

It's sort of sweet, sad and endearing how little you know and understand about the issue. Just like most Trump voters.... 😹

Trump Effect already starting.

Things move different when you don't have to worry about the Democrat shame tactics.
Things will change indeed. But full deporting thing will never happen. Better to work on these crazy free program.

Who does it benefit hunting down and removing people who have often been living quietly and peacefully in America doing menial and low-wage jobs and often raising families there without social assistance or medical care??

I know it makes you feel good to beat up and humiliate the weak. But does it really help America??

Should have never been bused across the country. Trump will do his best, you can be sure of that.

No such thing as a free program.

Trump effect continues. It's only been 2 days.

It's unfortunate that it's come to this. If Biden hadn't opened the floodgates by dismantling Trump's border policies, it might not have.

Under Biden, something like 2 million illegals have entered each year. You wouldn't have to deport people if they never got a chance to enter in the first place.

You mentioned the asylum process above. There are 8 billion people in the world. How many can they give asylum to? Is there a limit, and if so, what is it? Please state an exact number.

Which is great. Even if I am mostly now a liberal I wrote often here that the level of immigrants accepted in the US and especially Canada in the last few years was a complete tragedy. So yes those are good news.
